Objective: The research opportunity addressed in this study is understanding how socio-technical system interactions within healthcare settings can be optimized to promote patient safety, particularly the context of infection risk analysis during critical clinician-patient and throughout care delivery. Background: Preventing pathogen spread environments that cause Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) an ongoing challenge both U.S. globally. In complex inpatient delivery settings, variability clinical staff's control behaviors, such as hand hygiene compliance, hinder achievement optimal HAI prevention objectives. Method: authors employed Agent-based Modeling (ABM) conjunction with Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) a framework for evaluating simulated results safety behaviors like compliance impact overall environmental infectivity. Results: This demonstrates using computational approach evaluate operational factors effectively forecast human on infectivity levels. Conclusion: provides valuable insights designing operating by highlighting importance integrating behavioral theories modeling improve practices. Application: implications designers hospital operations professionals suggest applying ABM physical design interventions environment bolster clinicians’ Perceived Behavioral Control their intentions perform safe practices offers viable method improving dynamics settings.

Workers in various industries where materials are handled manually at a higher risk of suffering musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and related body pains. These workers experience occupational diseases due to the awkward working postures they take during tasks. Some these work include sitting (for long period), lifting, twisting, or bending. This review studied material handling tasks employed daily activities by workers. The hazard human tasks, general survey parts involved assessment factors approaches modification have also been reviewed. concluded with suggestions on possible ergonomic intervention that could alleviate caused postures.

Telemedicine applications have received increasing attention with significant effects on the traditional mechanism of health care services, especially during COVID-19 pandemic. This paper investigates values and barriers influencing adoption acceptance telemedicine services by a systems approach combined quantitative analysis. We developed casual loop diagram (CLD) showing interactions between factors, including technology, policymaking, patient, provider in context COVID-19. The feedback loops were thematically synthesized from literature to demonstrate attitude adopting while considering connections causality different factors. To further quantify how impacted telemedicine, National Electronic Health Record Survey (NEHRS) 2021 was utilized test usage, barrier, trend telemedicine. results indicate that factors ease use, utilization, available tools, facilitating conditions, technology access, quality influence also suggest challenges opportunities associated use should be explored holistically multiple perspectives shed light various stakeholders at levels.

Human-computer interaction is paramount in the process of designing interactive-computer systems with high capabilities guaranteeing users’ satisfaction. However, lack suitable frameworks complicates their effective design. This study investigated capable guiding appropriate design interactive for communication through activities (ISCA) higher learning institutions Tanzania. These are necessary augmenting thereby overcoming persistent challenges related to reliance on face-to-face, phone-based, and social networking websites communications. used a thorough user centred approach where framework human activity design-centred (HADC) was employed. Authors qualitatively analysed data issues from participants involved. Design science research then combined theory develop four-phased methodology which an intended (HAIC) framework. The findings confirmed that interactions techniques based human-activities undertaken fundamental particular setting. In context this study, ISCA need, obtained HAIC found be appropriate. out current user-centred does not explain precisely how designers can employ activity-based into process.
