Ecological security pattern (ESP) represents a sound spatial arrangement of ecosystem occurring in landscape. The research on the optimization ESP aims to improve and restore functions by rationally allocating optimizing ecological elements based key issues. Constructing can enhance connectivity regional habitat patches, which is great significance for protecting restoring biodiversity, improving stability resilience, achieving sustainable development. However, it challenging task systematically resilience networks under attacks. Little has been done enhancing edge-based Based morphological analysis (MSPA), minimum cumulative resistance (MCR) greedy algorithm (GA) models, this study presents new method construct optimize ESP. Dongting Lake Basin China, typical region with rich complex landscape patterns, intensive human activities, taken as an example. results indicate that network improved its 51.62%, robustness against random attacks 41.13%, targeted 43.41%, relative initial network. Monte Carlo test verifies reliability solution. proposed be used finding structure best specific attacks, provides valuable decision-making reference land planning biodiversity conservation.

The land use and cover change (LUCC) associated with climate human activities poses a persistent threat to ecosystems, profoundly impacting ecological security. Simulating spatiotemporal changes in ecosystem service values (ESVs) security patterns (ESPs) under different future scenarios is crucial for formulating sustainable development policies. This study introduces comprehensive framework multi-scenario analysis, which combines the system dynamics (SD) model, patch-generated land-use simulation (PLUS) minimum cumulative resistance (MCR) model simulate ESV ESP LUCC using SSP-RCP provided by CMIP6. results show that three (SSP245, SSP585, SSP126), year 2050 predicted be 10.285 billion yuan, 10.248 10.327 respectively. Additionally, area of sources estimated 78.56 km2, 65.90 141.38 while lengths corridors are 428.05 km, 332.45 527.10 numbers nodes 14, 9, 15, Notably, SSP126 scenario demonstrates significant improvement compared SSP245 SSP585 scenarios, indicating effective protection land. provides valuable insights serves as reference decision-making concerning conservation resource management at county municipal scales.

Regional ecological security pattern (ESP) can provide the basis for regional territorial spatial planning and urban protection. Taking Wuhan metropolitan area as study area, a binary logistic regression model was used to quantify evolutionary driving forces transformation risk of land. An identification framework source based on "quality-risk-demand" constructed identify by calculating land comprehensive value from three aspects quality, degradation risk, human demand. The resistance surface calculated according land-use type nighttime light data, further using circuit theory range its key areas corridors, specific ESP their priority area. results showed sources were 382.4 km2, accounting 17.3% corridors in terrestrial ecosystem (TEC) 14.38 with an average width 77.8 m, including 4.99 km2 pinch points 3.71 barriers, indicating poor actual connectivity TEC. Ecological aquatic (AEC) 107.67 km long, 57.86 14.24 substitutability AEC. Overall, "three horizontals, verticals, four clusters" identified, where sources, barriers protection restoration constructing it. Existing spaces within range, corridor highly consistent situation, verifying significance framework. This focuses needs residents, combining intrinsic quality extrinsic risks land, proposes integrated identifying identifies theory, attempts quantitative case reference construction other areas.

Since 1971, remote sensing techniques have been used to map and monitor phenomena parameters of the coastal zone. However, updated reviews only considered one phenomenon, parameter, data source, platform, or geographic region. No review has offered an overview that can be accurately mapped monitored with data. This systematic was performed achieve this purpose. A total 15,141 papers published from January 2021 June 2023 were identified. The 1475 most cited screened, 502 eligible included. Web Science Scopus databases searched using all possible combinations between two groups keywords: geographical names in areas platforms. demonstrated that, date, many (103) (39) (e.g., coastline land use cover changes, climate change, urban sprawl). Moreover, authors validated 91% retrieved parameters, 39 1158 times (88% combined together other parameters), 75% over time, 69% several compared results each available products. They obtained 48% different methods, their 17% GIS model techniques. In conclusion, addressed requirements needed more effectively analyze employing integrated approaches: they data, merged
