Bisphenol A (BPA) is one of the most produced compounds worldwide. It acts as an endocrine disruptor and can cause adverse effects in body, even at low-dose exposures. By interacting with estrogen receptors, it play important role pathogenesis several diseases, such infertility, hormone-dependent tumours various metabolic disorders. Exposure humans, especially early life, particular concern, since have a big impact on individual’s development growth. The objective this study was to evaluate, vivo, genotoxicity BPA its longevity, prolificacy behaviour Drosophila melanogaster. To evaluate biological behavioural effects, flies were crossed subjected different concentrations (0.5 mM, 1 2 5 mM 10 mM) instant “Carolina” medium hydrated solution for 3 days, then transferred non-treated medium, where they continued lay eggs. This procedure repeated obtain F2 generation. genotoxicity, somatic mutation recombination test (SMART) Comet assays performed. In these cases, higher chosen (1 20 50 mM). results showed that compound caused changes longevity prolificacy, also affected subsequent generations. They Drosophila’s social interaction, but exposure levels investigated here, did not significant genotoxic effects.
