Objectives (1) To investigate longitudinal associations between grip strength (GS) and cognition over 4 years in European older adults, (2) to examine differences temporal men women levels of physical activity, (3) explore each year 2015 2019 GS quartiles cognitive performance, (4) (year 2015) performance 2019). Methods: 25,281 individuals (14,200 women) from 17 countries aged ≥50 responded waves 6th 8th the SHARE project. We analyzed GS, a general index, activity level. Results: Panel analyses revealed bidirectional relationship cognition, with sex, as well participants moderate-to-vigorous low levels. Conclusion: Women were more likely experience deficits later.
