Introduction: Obesity has been identified as one of the main risk factors contributing to increase in hypertension cases, particularly among elderly. This study aims analyze role obesity increasing elderly by examining relationship between body mass index (BMI) and blood pressure. Methods: research uses a cross-sectional design, an analytical that studies causes incidents or incidents. Data collection questionnaire. The sample this was 64 hypertensive patients working data analysis using chi-square test. Results: study's results indicate (p=0.000) incidence working. showed with obese status had significantly higher compared average weight. BACKGROUND Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in elderly individuals is a transitional stage between normal cognition and dementia. Understanding the risk factors for MCI identifying those at high are extremely important population. AIM To analyze population construct clinical prediction model. METHODS Total 295 presenting with memory loss diagnosed Wuxi People's Hospital March 2021 2024 were included. Comprehensive demographic, clinical, serological data collected analysis. Participants categorized into either an group or based on their performance Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale. An elaborate predictive model was developed to predict likelihood of stroke patients; its accuracy evaluated using area under curve values calibration curves. RESULTS The results study showed that old age, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, smoking, high-salt diet, high-cholesterol decreased red blood count, increased neutrophil lymphocyte ratio low-density lipoprotein cholesterol onset MCI, A vitamin diet elevated high-density being protective factors. In addition, constructed this exhibits good degrees differentiation calibration. CONCLUSION diverse. Early identification can better intervene improve quality life patients.

Perioperative neurocognitive disorders (PND) is common in aged mild cognitive impairment (MCI) patients and can accelerate the progression to dementia. This process involves heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2/B1 (hnRNPA2/B1)-mediated aggregates of stress granules (SGs), while RUVBL2 influences dynamics these SGs. Our research explored a new target for modulating hnRNAPA2/B1-SGs their disassembly potentially delay MCI due PND. We assessed effect hippocampal knockdown on hnRNPA2/B1-SGs rats through behavioral studies, biochemical experiments MRI. also examined using immunofluorescence staining fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP) rat primary neurons. results revealed that hnRNPA2/B1 hippocampus translocates cytoplasm form SGs following anesthesia. promotes disappearance hnRNPA2/B1-SGs, allowing return nucleus enhancing functional activity brain regions rats. In neurons, deletion facilitated transition from hydrogel liquid, promoting disassembly. compared three commonly used general anesthetics-3% sevoflurane, 40 mg·kg-1·h-1 propofol, 9% desflurane. Sevoflurane upregulated RUVBL2, which decreased intraneuronal pH disrupted energy metabolism. These changes resulted greater stabilization hnRNPA2/B1- conclusion, our findings indicated expression contributes phase liquid phase. Targeted interference with may represent novel approach dementia PND patients.
