The Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor (AHR) is a transcription factor that regulates several biological processes. Its potential in anti-tumor immunotherapy becoming clearer, yet no bibliometric studies on this topic exist. This study aims to understand the current research landscape and identify future directions through analysis of AHR's immunological effects. We conducted comprehensive AHR antitumor papers Web Science Core Collection. Various aspects publications were analyzed, hotspots trends identified using scientific tools statistical methods. collected 592 English published between 2010 2023, with an almost annual increase. Most from USA, followed by China, Germany, Italy. journal "Frontiers Immunology" had most papers, cited paper was Christiane A. Opitz's "An endogenous tumour-promoting ligand human aryl hydrocarbon receptor." centered around gene expression, growing focus intestinal disease development Programmed cell death 1 (PD-L1) drugs. highlights significance immunomodulatory research, outlining key contributors. It suggests immune effects may mediate process colitis cancer transformation, providing valuable insights for strategies based AHR.
