Small noncoding RNAs, known as microRNAs (miRNAs), are vital for the regulation of diverse biological processes. miR-223, an evolutionarily conserved anti-inflammatory miRNA expressed in cells myeloid lineage, has been implicated monocyte–macrophage differentiation, proinflammatory responses, and recruitment neutrophils. The functions this gene regulated by its expression levels or tissues. In review, we first outline regulatory role miR-223 granulocytes, macrophages, endothelial cells, epithelial dendritic (DCs). Then, summarize possible chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), acute lung injury (ALI), coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) other inflammatory diseases to better understand molecular networks diseases.

MicroRNA-135 (miR-135) is a microRNA which involved in the pathoetiology of several neoplastic and non-neoplastic conditions. Both tumor suppressor oncogenic roles have been reported for this miRNA. Studies prostate, renal, gallbladder nasopharyngeal cancers as well glioma shown down-regulation miR-135 cancerous tissues compared with controls. These studies also impact on enhancement cell proliferation aggressive behavior. Meanwhile, has to be up-regulated bladder, oral, colorectal liver cancers. breast, gastric, lung pancreatic head neck squamous carcinoma dual miR-135. Dysregulation noted various conditions such Alzheimer’s disease, atherosclerosis, depression, diabetes, Parkinson, pulmonary arterial hypertension, nephrotic syndrome, endometriosis, epilepsy allergic In current review, we summarize role carcinogenesis development other disorders.

Biomimetic DNA walking machines have gained great success in scrutinizing the microscopic world and sensitive biosensing of disease biomarkers. Despite superb achievements, research on for simultaneous detection multiple analytes is still rare, while design realization multiplexing are considered as an important bottleneck. The multiplex biomarkers can not only improve specificity bioassays but also avoid squander valuable biological specimens. Herein, we reported three-dimensional (3D) based high-resolution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (HR-ICPMS) lung cancer-associated miRNA detection. In presence target miRNAs (miR-21, miR-141, miR-125b), were stimulated operated to liberate a large number lanthanide elements (Tb, Ho, Tm), then signals collected simultaneously by HR-ICPMS. recovery test human serum monitoring experiment three cancer cell line (A549) normal (HBE) specimens display satisfactory analysis capabilities complex samples. Thanks vast potential tags modular design, proposed bioassay might flexibly detect different combinations with corresponding sets meet requirements various tasks.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is rapidly becoming one of the leading causes cancer-related deaths in United States, and with its high mortality rate, there a pressing need to develop sensitive robust methods for detection. Exosomal biomarker panels provide promising avenue PDAC screening since exosomes are highly stable easily harvested from body fluids. PDAC-associated miRNAs packaged within these could be used as diagnostic markers. We analyzed series 18 candidate via RT-qPCR identify differentially expressed (p < 0.05, t-test) between plasma patients control patients. From this analysis, we propose four-marker panel consisting miR-93-5p, miR-339-3p, miR-425-5p, miR-425-3p an area under curve (AUC) receiver operator characteristic (ROC) 0.885 sensitivity 80% specificity 94.7%, which comparable CA19-9 standard marker diagnostic.
