This scoping review aimed to summarize the effects of natural products targeting phosphoinositide-3-kinases/serine/threonine kinase (PI3K/AKT) in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury (MIRI). The details various types compounds such as gypenoside (GP), XVII (GP-17), geniposide, berberine, dihydroquercetin (DHQ), and tilianin which identified reduce MIRI vitro vivo by regulating PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. In this study, 14 research publications that met inclusion criteria exclusion were shortlisted. Following intervention, we discovered effectively improved cardiac functions through regulation antioxidant status, down-regulation Bax, up-regulation Bcl-2 caspases cleavage. Furthermore, although comparing outcomes can be challenging due heterogeneity study model, results assembled here consistent, giving us confidence intervention’s efficacy. We also discussed if is associated with multiple pathological condition oxidative stress, ERS, mitochondrial injury, inflammation, apoptosis. brief provides evidence support huge potential used treatment their biological activities drug-like properties.

Cisplatin is an efficacious anticancerous chemotherapeutic agent that used to cure multiple types of malignancies. However, it has several hazardous effects on organs, particularly liver. Tectochrysin a naturally occurring flavonoid with extensive pharmacological properties. In this research, the potential anti-oxidant properties tectochrysin against cisplatin-triggered oxidative stress in rats’ hepatic tissues were investigated. 48 male albino rats separated into 4 groups: control cisplatin (10 mg/kg), + mg/kg 5 and (5 mg/kg). The trial executed for one month. biochemical, inflammatory, histopathological liver markers evaluated. results research suggested treatment remarkably lowered activities glutathione (GSH), superoxide dismutase (SOD), reductase (GSR), S-transferase (GST), peroxidase (GPx) as well catalase (CAT) while escalated malondialdehyde (MDA) reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. administered exhibited significantly higher aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine (ALT) alkaline phosphatase (ALP) Furthermore, administration elevated inflammatory indicators i.e., interleukin-1β (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) nuclear factor kappa-B (NF- κB) cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) activity along impairments. Conversely, co-administration effectively reversed impairments abnormalities tissue rats. current investigation demonstrated cisplatin-induced hepatotoxicity owing its antioxidant, scavenging anti-inflammatory

MCL-1 is the prosurvival member of Bcl-2 family. It prevents induction mitochondria-dependent apoptosis. The molecular mechanisms dictating host cell viability gain importance in context viral infections. premature apoptosis infected cells could interrupt pathogen replication cycle. On other hand, death following effective assembly progeny particles may facilitate virus dissemination. Thus, various viruses can interfere with regulation network to their advantage. Research has shown that infections affect intracellular amount modify apoptotic potential cells, fitting it “schedule” A growing body evidence suggests virus-dependent deregulation level contribute several virus-driven diseases. In this work, we have described role caused by viruses. We also presented a list promising antiviral agents targeting protein. discussed results indicate targeted interventions addressing anti-apoptotic MCL1 as new therapeutic strategy for cancers well investigation cellular and involved engaging better understanding survival balance.

Cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic drug utilized in the treatment of many solid-tissue cancers; it associated with several organ toxicities. For ages, Phoenix Dactylifera, known as " large jujube or dà zǎo," Chinese traditional medicine, has been employed for medicinal applications. The present study assesses role Date Fruit Polysaccharides (DFP) cisplatin-induced liver injury Rats were intraperitoneally treated single therapeutic dose cisplatin (5 mg/kg body weight) and then orally daily without 50/100 weight DFP 7 successive days. salvaging effects assessed on Cisplatin-induced hepatic damage, by investigating function markers, oxidative stress, pro-inflammatory biomarkers, histopathological assessment morphology hematoxylin/eosin stain. To elucidate contents, functional groups, antioxidative potentials DFP, chromatographic, spectroscopic, vitro assays analysed. Exposure to led considerable escalation tested biomarkers (ALP ALT), an upsurge levels/activities malondialdehyde, cytokines, myeloperoxidase significant drop level GSH (P < 0.05) compared control. Moreover, there also obvious decline antioxidant enzymes (catalase, SOD GPx) activities. Contrarily, post-treatment significantly inhibited heightened lipid peroxidation, inflammation, stress dose-dependently. Analysis chemical constituents, activities demonstrated important monosaccharides properties DFP. This shows ability serve probable agent damage treatment.
