recent
years,eutrophication
of
water
bodies
has
become
increasingly
severe
due
to
the
rising
content
phosphorus
in
these
bodies.This
escalation
adversely
affects
normal
growth
aquatic
organisms,leading
deterioration
quality,and
ultimately
impacting
human
life.Phosphorus
removal
is
a
crucial
direction
for
addressing
body
pollution.Therefore,it
utmost
importance
identify
efficient,affordable,and
feasible
methods
removing
from
wastewater.Adsorption,owing
its
simplicity,efficiency,and
low
cost,is
widely
employed
treatment.Biochar,in
particular,is
extensively
used
high
efficiency,renewability,low
cost,and
ready
availability
raw
materials.This
paper
reviews
preparation
biochar
and
modified
biochar,analyses
effects
pyrolysis
temperature,solution
pH,reaction
temperature,adsorbent
dosage,adsorption
time
co-existing
ions
on
materials.It
also
explores
necessity
desorption
regeneration
biochar,along
with
prospects
future
removal.
