AbstractsThe poor treatment of oxytetracycline(OTC) excess sludge would result in the risk secondary pollution, which was an urgent need to explore efficient, environmentally friendly, and safe methods. The OTC continuously adjusted pH 5, 8, 10, 12, while intermittently regulated 10 12 with temperature 35±3 °C. intermittent regulation more favorable production SCFAs compared continuous at 10. maximum produced 1590.5 mgCOD/gVSS percentage acetic acid reached 82% reduction achieved 33.1%. emission concentration 22.58 mg/L under 18.5mg/L regulation, removal rate 62.5% fermentation process. qualitative analysis revealed that main metabolites such as EOTC α-apo-OTC were formed by lactonization tautomerization. And other potential decarbonylation, deamidation dehydroxylation. proved conducive enrichment hydrolytic acidifying bacteria, Bacillus (29.94%), Hydrotalea (4.32%), Thauera (13.67%) emerging dominant species. Notably, Pseudomonas (1.56%) demonstrated effectively degradation.

et al.

Published: Jan. 1, 2023

A large quantity of orange peel waste (OPW) is generated per year; yet effective biorefinery methods are lack. In this study, Trichosporonoides oedocephalis ATCC 16958 was employed for hydrolyzing OPW to produce soluble sugars. Glycosyl hydrolases from Paenibacillus sp. LLZ1 which can hydrolyze cellulose and hemicellulose were mined characterized, with the highest β-mannanase activity 39.1 U/mg at pH 6.0 50 ℃. The enzyme overexpressed in T. sugar production enhanced by 16%. accumulated contains 57% value-added mannooligosaccharides hydrolysis mannans. process intensified a pretreatment combining H2O2 submergence steam explosion remove potential inhibitors. yield 6.5 g/L achieved flask conversion, increased 9.7 5-L fermenter. This study improved effectiveness processing, provided hydrolysis-based methodology utilization fruit wastes.
