Published: Jan. 1, 2024

The widely used Nitrocellulose (NC) in ammunition and paint industries brings an emerging problem because its recalcitrance to degradation has a negative impact on human health the environment. Herein, A novel Rhodococcus pridinivorans LZ1 capable of NC was isolated presence could improve growth LZ1. Meanwhile, concentration nitrate nitrite decreased with time, while ammonium showed opposite trend. Further, surface roughness film increased after biological treatment, along increase hydrophilicity. As reaction time increased, energetic functional groups (-NO2 O-NO2) weakened, -OH strength increased. Lastly, addition activity esterase 1-2 times biodegradation pathway might be ammonification. study provides new possibility for treatment waste wastewater.

To investigate the effects of aeration pretreatment on anaerobic digestion (AD) swine manure, five groups were established with dissolved oxygen (DO) in each group set to 0.0, 0.4, 0.8, 1.4, and 2.0 mg/L, respectively. The results demonstrated that compared non-aeration group, methane production increased varying degrees different pretreatments (AP), a maximum increase 27.98% (DO = mg/L). AP reduced hydrogen sulfide (H
