Applying beneficial microorganisms (BM) as bioinoculants presents a promising soil-amendment strategy while impacting the native microbiome, which jointly alters soil-plant performance. Leveraging untapped potential of microbiomes alongside may enable farmers to sustainably regulate systems via natural bioresources. This review synthesizes literature on microbiome responses BMs and their interactive effects soil plant We highlight that harbor both microbial "helpers" can improve fertility productivity, well "inhibitors" hinder these benefits. To harness full resident it is crucial elucidate intricate synergistic antagonistic interplays with introduced clarify conditions facilitate durable BM-microbiome synergies. Hence, we indicate current challenges in predicting complex interactions propose corresponding strategies for breeding BM bioinoculant. Overall, fully realizing requires clarifying judiciously engineering helpful microbes already present within agroecosystems.

Wheat straw (WS) has long been subjected to rough treatment by traditional incineration, which not only results in the waste of biomass resources but also poses a risk atmospheric pollution and is conducive sustainable utilization natural resources. With great humification potential, WS can be utilized as valuable composting material. The study optimized C/N ratio mixing chicken manure (CM) raw materials, found that this method could significantly improve compost quality. In comparison conventional poplar woodchip (PW) conditioning, incorporation resulted an elevated temperature, extended high-temperature period, more expeditious lignocellulose degradation, notable enhancement organic matter content, suppression hydrogen sulfide production under low ratio, promotion elemental sulfur conversion, collectively contributing enhanced overall quality environmental friendliness compost. Correlation analysis microbial communities factors demonstrated mixed facilitated growth actinomycetes sulfur-transforming bacteria. Additionally, structural equation model indicated parameters such temperature pH value played key role process.
