Clean energy conversion and storage require simple, economical, effective electrode materials to achieve promising results. The development of high-performance electrocatalysts with adequate stability cost-effectiveness is essential ensure low overpotentials toward the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Herein, a cobalt-based metal-organic framework 4,4,4-6T14 topology in combination various ratios NiMn-layered double hydroxide (Co-MOF@X%NiMn-LDH, X = 5, 10, 20, 40%) applied as an electrocatalyst for oxidation water. optimum sample, Co-MOF@20%NiMn-LDH nanocomposite, showed overpotential 174 mV at current density 10 mA cm-2 reduced Tafel slope 64 dec-1 1 M KOH, which makes it excellent candidate, significantly superior commercial IrO2 most MOF- LDH-based electrocatalysts. Chronopotentiometry tests OER over several hours confirmed that these have been sufficiently stable. Pillared MOFs can obstruct active entities from NiMn-LDH cubic agglomeration, thus facilitating mass transportation ensuring continuous exposure sites. Accordingly, synthesized composite demonstrates considerable electrocatalytic efficiency OER, consequence porous structure, external surface area, synergistic effects among Co-MOF samples.

Metal sulfides, characterized by high crystalline stability and narrowed band gap, are recognized as effective electrode materials for energy storage in alkaline environments. This study enhances the surface activity Co9S8/Ni3S2 hollow nanorod arrays incorporating phosphorus (P) doping. In situ Raman spectroscopy confirms that P doping facilitates rapid reconstruction media, resulting substantial amounts of oxyhydroxides significantly enhance density supercapacitors. The optimized P–Co9S8/Ni3S2 (1 h) demonstrates a 4.56-fold increase performance over original Co9S8/Ni3S2, achieving capacitance 20.5 F·cm–2 at 3 mA·cm–2 2 M KOH. hybrid supercapacitor device assembled with activated carbon achieves an 1.73 mWh cm–2 power 4.95 mW cm–2, showcasing cycling life 84.6% capacity retention after 10,000 cycles. work effectively reconstructs oxyhydroxide species on electrodes environments through engineering, providing valuable guidance design reconstructions metal sulfide using atom engineering.

Global clean energy demands can be effectively addressed using the promising approach of hydrogen generation combined with less consumption. Hydrogen generated, and urea-rich wastewater pollution mitigated in a low-energy manner urea oxidation reaction (UOR). This paper seeks to assemble unique electrocatalyst pristine 2D MOF, [Co(HBTC)(DMF)]n (Co-MUM-3), from 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate (BTC) oxidize simulated seawater. Ni foam (NF)-based working electrodes were fabricated by incorporating series heterometallic CuCo-MUM-3 frameworks (Cu0.1Co0.9-MUM-3, Cu0.2Co0.8-MUM-3, Cu0.3Co0.7-MUM-3, Cu0.4Co0.6-MUM-3), after which their application was examined. A very low required overpotential [1.26 V vs reversible electrode (RHE) 1 M KOH + 0.5 NaCl (simulated seawater) 0.33 urea] Tafel slope 112 mV dec–1 could observed for Cu0.3Co0.7-MUM-3 electrocatalyst, ensuring achievement electro-oxidation evolution reactions at corresponding 10 mA cm–2 electrocatalytic current density. relatively lower will evident compared other reported MOFs, outperforming commercial catalyst RuO2 (1.41 cm–2, 131 dec–1) considerable stability significantly high densities minimum 72 h.

Abstract As an element, cobalt has a very interesting coordination chemistry and great potential to participate in the formation of variety complex compounds, that play significant role synthesis catalytic systems. In present work, new cobalt(II) compound with unusual rare structure, not previously described literature, was synthesized. This two 2,2′‐bipyridyl ligands, water molecule and, most interestingly, sulfate(VI) anion Co(II) sphere. Its use properties were studied oligomerization selected olefins, where it acted as precatalyst. The achieved activity values rather high (<100 g mmol −1 h ⋅ bar ), except for process 2,3‐dibromo‐2‐propen‐1‐ol using MAO. obtained oligomers subjected structural (FT‐IR, SEM, MALDI‐TOF‐MS) thermal (TG, DSC) analysis, results allowed characterize their physicochemical properties. conducted determine effect applied activator on activity, well oligomers. addition, specific surface area sorption products studied, one them showed CO 2 (<1.6 ).
