Pollutant treatment, hazardous solid waste conversion, and biomass resource utilization are significant topics in environmental pollution control, simultaneously achieving them is challenging. Herein, we developed a "from absorbent to effective photocatalyst" upcycle strategy for nontoxic conversion of Cd(II) adsorbed on thiolation@wood-aerogel (TWA) into CdS/g-C3N4 heterojunctions through the situ chemical deposition high-temperature carbonization combined method overcome above problems simultaneously. We used Schiff base reaction graft l-cysteine dialdehyde@wood-aerogel prepare TWA with high adsorption capacity (600 mg/L, 294.66 mg/g). Subsequently, spent Cd(II)-loaded-TWA was as substrate construction heterojunction activating peroxymonosulfate (PMS) under simulated sunlight [simulated solar light (SSL)], efficient tetracycline (TC) degradation (20 95.32%). The Langmuir pseudo-second-order models indicate single-layer process. In PMS/SSL system, CdS/g-C3N4@TWA efficiently rapidly degraded TC via an adsorption-photocatalytic synergistic mechanism. has good biocompatibility. This study proposed design preparation new type wood aerogel provided novel upcycling innovative use adsorbent.

To overcome the disadvantage of difficult recovery powder catalysts and improve catalyst utilization, selection foam metal substrates as supports can reduce difficulty material effectively inhibit leaching ions. Herein, CoMnNi-layered double hydroxide (LDH) derived from Co-Mn ZIF was immobilized onto nickel (NF) through in situ synthesis. By comparing XPS before reaction, it confirmed surface hydroxyl group C=O were involved activation peroxymonosulfate (PMS). quenching reaction showed SO4•− 1O2 are main active substances oxidation enrofloxacin (ENR). When dosage NF@CoMnNi-LDH 0.4 g/L, pH solution 6.82, when PMS 2.0 mM, degradation rate ENR reached 82.6% within 30 min. This research offers novel insights into antibiotics water using a monolithic supported by foam.

Visible-light-driven organic transformation photocatalyzed by metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) under mild conditions is considered a feasible route to conserve energy and simplify synthesis. Herein, light-sensitized, three-dimensional uranyl–organic framework (HNU-64) with twofold interpenetration its derivatives HNU-64-CH3 HNU-64-Cl functionalized ligands of −CH3 −Cl groups were obtained. These MOFs have broad optical absorption bands suitable band levels in photooxidation, which makes them exhibit high activity selectivity for the photooxidation benzylamine N-benzylbenzoimide conditions. This work provides an efficient simple synthetic option oxidative coupling amines directly produce imines.
