With the rapid development of industry and technology, high-efficiency extraction uranium from seawater is a research hotspot aspect nuclear energy development. Herein, new amidoximated metal–organic framework (UiO-66-DAMN-AO) constructed through novel organic ligand 2-diaminomaleonitrile-terephthalic acid (BDC-DAMN) designed via one-step post-synthetic methods (PSM), which possess merit abundant multiaffinity sites, large specific surface area, unique porous structure for efficient extraction. Adopting PSM can alleviate destruction structural stability reduction conversion rate amidoxime groups. Meanwhile, introducing BDC-DAMN with sites endow UiO-66-DAMN-AO excellent adsorption ability (Qm = 426.3 mg g−1) selectivity. Interestingly, has both micropores mesopores, may be attributed to partial etching during amidoximation. The presence mesopores improves mass transfer provides more exposed active favoring on UiO-66-DAMN-AO. Thus, this study feasible strategy modifying (MOFs) plentiful groups promising prospect MOF-based materials adsorb ocean.
