To assess the possibility of using acoustic emission method in direction selecting activators hydrodynamic processes rotary apparatuses (machines) for processing liquid media constrained conditions, experimental studies and effects accompanying two main modes their application were carried out: first is operation mode activator frequency cyclic change, second fixed rotation frequency. Seven forms three types (vane, turbine disk) a pulse apparatus applied disinfection lubricants used research. Using conventional high-speed video, each type identified, which compared with established measurements temperature Reynolds centrifugal criterion. According to results research, limitations comparing effectiveness treatment devices conditions its turbulent motion are shown. Under operating imitated by width working chamber, an peak never described literature earlier was revealed, differs from noise movement liquid. The relationship between change amplitude rate pumping medium through chamber also established. obtained can be select compare form processes, as well maintain effective aqueous solutions.

Wastewater decontamination in pharmaceuticals is crucial to prevent environmental and health risks from API residues other contaminants. Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) combined with cavitational treatments offer effective solutions. Challenges include designing reactors on a large scale monitoring the effectiveness synergies of hybrid technology. In present work, pilot-scale treatment real high COD (485 g/L) pharmaceutical wastewater (PW) was investigated using hydrodynamic cavitation (HC) operated individually at 330 L/h or combination oxidants electrical discharge (ED) cold plasma (15 kV 48 kHz). The first approach consisted PW alone 7 L 1:100 diluted HC-induced pressure 60 bar flow rate L/h. However, this strategy did not provide satisfactory results for (∼15% less), only when HC extended more than 30 min recirculation mode, encouraging were obtained (∼45% reduction). Consequently, combining ED-cold chosen treat high-COD PW. Aiming establish an efficient flow-through process, after optimising all parameters (45 10 kHz ED frequency), best abatement ∼50 % recorded 1:50 subsequent adsorption step over activated carbon required achieve almost quantitative reduction (95%+). Our integrated physicochemical process proved be extremely treating industrial resulted remarkable value. addition, residual surfactants content also drastically reduced (98%+) small amount added HC/ED treatment.

Water pollution has become a major environmental menace due to municipal and industrial effluents discharged into water bodies. Several processes have been devised for the treatment disposal of wastewater sludge. Yet, most conventional technologies do not meet requirements sustainability as they impose higher load on environment in terms resource depletion toxic waste generation. Recently, sustainable innovative technologies, like hydrodynamic cavitation (HC), emerged energy-efficient methods, which can enhance processes. HC is very effective technique intensification processes, aeration, activated sludge treatment, anaerobic digestion plants, particularly enhanced degradation persistent pollutants. On other hand, advanced oxidation proven enhancement method treatment. This review provides comprehensive overview recently published literature application organic The potential synergistic impact coupled with alternative pre-treatment methods was also reviewed this study. Moreover, an present state model-based research work reactors feasibility analysis various process covered. Options pilot-to-large scale implementation ensure better plants are recommended.
