This article reviews the oxidation behaviour of two most significant high entropy alloy systems (HEAs) namely Cantor‐based and refractory HEAs. HEAs have been extensively researched show potential applications in various industries, including marine engine manufacturing, chemical industry, furnaces, ducting, heat exchangers, jet engines, steam turbines, nuclear reactors electronic devices, among others. The Al-rich hot-dip aluminum composite coatings were synthesized on Mo surface by aluminizing under different deposition processes. aluminide present a very smooth dense coating structure with lower roughness and fine grain size, the average (RSa) values are only 0.118–0.869 μm, corresponding area growth rate (Sdr) 3.85–80.19 %. Increasing temperature is beneficial for transition of low melting point compounds to high compounds, extending hot dip time profit diffusion enrichment Al atoms surface. Besides, increasing or can also promote Al4Mo grains, thereby significantly thickness.
