Abstract Pickering emulsions, which are emulsions stabilized by solid particles adsorbed at the interface between two immiscible liquids, provide a highly versatile platform for catalytic processes and offer distinct advantages over conventional systems. These combine benefits of traditional biphasic catalysis with enhanced contact reactive species due to their large interfacial area, contribute high efficiency. Furthermore, significant in processes, including improved extraction efficiency, wider range operational variables, possibility continuous operation, ease recovery emulsifier and/or catalyst. Moreover, through strategic selection design particles, researchers can tailor properties optimize performance, selectivity stability. This comprehensive review discusses recent breakthroughs emulsion research applications catalysis, examining how have transformed methodologies. By discussing latest developments, this demonstrates potential as catalyst highlights role advancing sustainable efficient processes.
