A very simple, as well sensitive and selective, sensing protocol was developed on a pre-anodized graphite pencil electrode surface coated using poly(thionine) (APGE/PTH). The then used for simultaneous of 3-nitrophenol (3-NP) 4-nitrophenol (4-NP). exhibited an enhanced electrocatalytic property towards nitrophenol (3-NP 4-NP) reduction. Redox peak potential current both nitrophenols were found resolved their analysis studied. Under optimized experimental conditions, APGE/PTH showed long linear concentration range from 20 to 230 nM 15 280 with calculated limit detection (LOD) 4.5 4 sensitivity 22.45 µA/nM 27.12 3-NP 4-NP, respectively. Real sample the prepared sensor tested different environmental water samples sensors excellent recovery results in 98.16 103.43%. Finally, exposed promising selectivity, stability, reproducibility 4-NP.
