Background Macrophage polarization and efferocytosis have been implicated in CHD. However, the underlying mechanisms remain elusive. This study aimed to identify CHD-associated biomarkers using transcriptomic data. Methods examined 74 efferocytosis-related genes (ERGs) 17 M1 macrophage polarization-related (MRGs) across two CHD-relevant datasets, GSE113079 GSE42148. Differential expression analysis was performed separately on each dataset differentially expressed (DEGs1 DEGs2). The intersection of upregulated downregulated from both sets then used define final DEGs. Subsequently, MRG ERG scores were calculated within dataset, followed by weighted gene co-expression network (WGCNA) key module genes. overlap between these DEGs yielded candidate biomarkers, which further evaluated through machine learning, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, profiling. These subsequently leveraged explore immune infiltration patterns construct a molecular regulatory network. To validate their expression, quantitative reverse transcriptase PCR (qRT-PCR) clinical CHD samples, confirming relevance disease. Results A total 93 identified intersecting DEGs1 DEGs2. WGCNA 15,936 dataset. Machine learning ROC highlighted four biomarkers: C5orf58, CTAG1A, ZNF180, IL13RA1. Among these, ZNF180 cases, while CTAG1A IL13RA1 upregulated. qRT-PCR results validated findings for showed inconsistent trends. Immune indicated all had positive correlation with M0 macrophage, negative with. NK cells activated. displayed that GATA2 YY1 could regulate ZNF180. Conclusions suggest serve as linking CHD, providing valuable insights diagnosis therapeutic strategies.

Remnant cholesterol (RC) has emerged as a novel therapeutic target beyond low-destiny-lipoproteins (LDL-c). While elevated RC levels are strongly associated with cardiovascular disease risk in the general population, their specific role young-onset acute myocardial infarction (AMI) among patients type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) remains insufficiently explored and warrants further investigation. This retrospective study included AMI T2DM admitted to First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from 2018 2022. Patients were stratified into tertiles according compared using thresholds derived commanded values PREDIMED cohort study. The primary outcome was AMI. Group differences analyzed chi-square test Kruskal-Wallis H test, while Spearman correlation analyses assessed relationships between variables. Univariate multivariate logistic regression employed evaluate association Among 2,514 participants (mean age 61.58 ± 11.15 years), 802 (31.9%) had increase increased significantly rising (27.0% vs 29.7% 39.1%, P < 0.001). showed significant positive total (TC, r = 0.497, 0.001), triglycerides (TG, 0.411, LDL-c (r 0.166, independently higher (OR: 1.579; 95% CI: 1.354-1.842; even after adjusting for other traditional factors 1.415; CI 1.189-1.684; Notably, remained linked regardless whether within desired range. is independent factor patients, irrespective level. Coronary artery disease is a major global health burden, with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) serving as key treatment strategy. Despite its efficacy, challenges such in-stent restenosis, medication nonadherence, unhealthy lifestyles, and psychological distress hinder optimal recovery. Continuity-based precision nursing, which integrates personalized care multidisciplinary support, offers potential solution. Therefore, the purpose of this study to evaluate effectiveness continuity-based nursing compared conventional in improving postoperative outcomes for PCI patients. This includes assessing impact on cardiac function recovery, complication prevention, adherence, lifestyle modifications, well-being, overall quality life. included 112 patients treated from January 2023 2024, divided into an experimental group (continuity-based nursing) control (conventional nursing). Propensity score matching resulted 45 matched pairs. Data collected demographics, function, changes, status, complications, satisfaction, health-related Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS, P < .05 considered significant. showed significant benefits over nursing. At 1 month post-PCI, had higher left ventricular ejection fraction ≥ 50% rates (86.7% vs 75.6%) lower restenosis (6.7% 17.8%) residual stenosis (8.9% 24.4%, = .048). Medication adherence was improved 66.7%, .02), eof smoking cessation (77.8% 55.6%, .01), healthy eating (84.4% .03), regular exercise (80.0% 62.2%, .02). Anxiety depression scores significantly post-intervention. Patient satisfaction (92.5 ± 4.2 85.7 6.1, .01) life (88.4 5.0 81.2 6.0, also markedly higher. enhances patients, behaviors, well-being. model provides comprehensive framework care, broader clinical application. Further research should long-term scalability diverse settings.

Objective Childhood obesity has become a prominent issue in the society, which can lead to left ventricular remodeling and severe cardiovascular complications adulthood. It is beneficial identify causes of so that targeted measures be taken prevent disease. Therefore, this study aimed explore relationship between changes blood lipid indexes obese children. Methods This was conducted on 40 healthy non-obese children 140 diagnosed pediatric health department our hospital. Clinical data collected from two groups were compared. Echocardiography performed examine configuration cardiac function. Multiple linear regression analysis assess independent effects levels echocardiographic parameters. Blood indicators among different structural patterns classified according mass relative wall thickness Results Obese exhibited significantly increased height, weight, body index (BMI), fat percentage (BFP), pressure, triglycerides, total cholesterol, internal diameter (LVIDd), interventricular septum (IVSd), posterior diastolic (LVPWd), myocardial (LVM) (RWT), as well lower high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) ejection fraction (LVEF) compared ( P < 0.05). correlation showed LVM had positive with BMI r = 3.21, 0.002) SBP 2.61, 0.01); LVMI negative HDL-C −2.45, 0.015); RWT 2.50, 0.013) but −2.35, 0.02).
