This study identified symptom profiles in adult patients undergoing neuropsychological evaluations for ADHD examined the association between these ACEs. Methods Utilizing unsupervised machine learning models, analyzed data from 208 patients. Results The Gaussian Mixture Model revealed two distinct profiles: “Severely Impaired” “Moderately Impaired”. profile, 23.6% sample, was characterized by more severe symptomatology worse performance. 76.4% had scores average self-reported internalizing externalizing psychopathology better There greater number ACEs reported Severely Impaired profile than Moderately (p = .022). Specifically, using an cutoff ≥4, 53.1% four or ACEs, compared 34.6% .020). Profiles were not related to clinician-ascribed diagnosis. Conclusions Findings underscore marked impaired function, increased psychopathology, heightened perceived stress adults ADHD. Future research may explore effect on diverse populations potential moderators mediators associations. offers valuable insights clinicians their assessment treatment planning.
