The present study examined the association between different contexts of sport participation and flourishing in adolescents over time explored moderating role appearance self-concept. Participants were Canadian who participated COMPASS 2017/2018 2018/2019 school years (N = 28,117, Time 1 Mage ± SD 14.74 old 1.16, 53.61% female). To explore the relationship between social support and adolescent athlete engagement role of self-efficacy mental toughness in this relationship. Participants methods: This study was a cross-sectional study. Convenience sampling method used, athletes from seven youth sports schools China were used as subjects. Five hundred thirteen valid questionnaires recovered, 264 (51.46%) males 249 (48.54%) females, mean age 17.8 ± 1.1 years. (1) After controlling for effects sport level, regression analyses revealed that positively predicted engagement; (2) Self-efficacy mediated engagement, mediation consisted three pathways: parallel both toughness, chain toughness. Participation in competitive sports has been shown to enhance children's mental health. However, evidence regarding the impact of group within traditional physical education on development is scarce. This study designed a team-building-focused program and examined its effects resilience rural students. A total 86 elementary school students (mean age: 11 years) were cluster-randomized into intervention control groups. Both groups participated regular classes three times per week. In group, first 15-min warm-up period was replaced with games. From social perspective, all games subtly encourage children forge new relationships by engaging contact, interacting team members, collaborating achieve shared goals sportsmanlike manner. Resilience assessed using Scale for Chinese Adolescents before after 12-week intervention.
