Abstract
Background
Children
with
intellectual
disabilities
(ID)
require
additional
support
for
social
skills
development,
parental
involvement
being
a
key
factor.
However,
the
mechanisms
underlying
this
relationship
remain
unclear.
Objectives
This
study
aimed
to
examine
