This study aimed to investigate the effects of phosphogypsum addition on ceramic membrane properties. In this regard, clay and were characterized using FTIR laser particle sizer. The paste was prepared by incorporating varying amounts (10 50%), followed molding a semidry-pressing process at 10 bars pressure sintering temperature 900°C. raw materials membranes analyzed FTIR, size, contact angle, porosity, mechanical strength evaluate properties resulting membranes. showed that as amount increased from 10% 50%, membrane's hydrophilicity significantly increased, while its decreased 35% porosity 26%. Moreover, permeability distilled water also significant increase 67% when 50%.These observations suggest can influence properties, which may have implications for use in various applications. findings research contribute our understanding potential valuable material production, with important sustainable waste management practices. Future studies focus exploring suitability these ceramics applications their environmental impact.
