Abstract Purpose Live-remote exercise interventions, supervised by professionals in a home-based setting, could potentially enhance accessibility for cancer survivors, yet research on their perspectives is limited. This study explored survivors’ experience of within the context live-remote intervention, to understand factors influencing engagement. Methods Four online focus groups with, total, 22 breast, prostate, and colorectal survivors were conducted between March June 2023. These individuals had participated 12-week intervention. The semi-structured discussions transcribed verbatim analysed using reflexive thematic analysis with an abductive approach. Capability, Opportunity, Motivation model Behaviour (COM-B) served as supportive framework. Results Nine themes identified mapped onto COM-B domains (capability, opportunity, motivation). Factors engagement included readiness following treatment, bringing closer, capable hands, peer support through shared experience, life hurdles or support, integral component caring myself others after me, positive impact exceeding expectations, getting into habit. Conclusions Identifying shaping engagement, these findings emphasise live-remote’s potential benefit overcoming barriers fostering participation. Supervised professionals, it offered psychosocial facilitating integration daily life. Implications Elucidating key essential developing implementing interventions ensure accessible, integrated optimal post-treatment well-being survivors.

Background: Resistance training (RT) yields physical and psychological benefits for women living with beyond breast cancer (WBC). This study examined the feasibility of a virtually delivered 8-week socially supportive RT intervention among WBC assessed changes in activity body image. Methods: A pilot single-arm pre–post design was implemented. Forty-one were matched as exercise partners asked to complete two sessions per week—one qualified professional (QEP) one their peer. Data collected at baseline (T1), post-intervention (T2), 20 weeks post-baseline (T3). Results: The enrolment rate 42%, attendance QEP 63.8% 40.0% peer sessions, retention 87%. No adverse events reported. Total weekly minutes significantly (p < 0.05) increased by 42 minutes/week during decreased 25 min/week follow-up. Upper lower muscle strength 0.01) intervention. Increased associated favorable self-perceptions. Conclusions: feasible, safe, demonstrated preliminary evidence increasing time WBC. Virtually interventions can improve access
