Anaerobic Digestion (AD) technology emerges as a viable solution for managing municipal organic waste, offering pollution reduction and the generation of biogas fertilisers. This study reviews research works advancements in AD implementation to effectively impact UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Furthermore, critically analyses responsible waste management that contributes health safety, elevating quality life both rural urban areas and, finally, creates map outputs onto all 17 SDGs. Finally, assessment employs three sustainability pillars (i.e., economic, environmental, social perspectives) examine direct indirect links between The findings reveal substantial progress, such poverty through job creation, bolstering economic growth (SDGs 1, 8, 10, 12), enhancing agricultural productivity (SDG 2), advancing renewable energy usage diminishing reliance on fossil fuels 7), fostering inclusive education gender equality 4, 5, 9), combating climate change 13), transforming cities into sustainable harmonious environments 11, 16, 17), curbing environmental 3, 6, 12, 14, 15). Nonetheless, highlights need further efforts achieve SDG targets, particularly part liquid solid fertilisers outputs.

Since the impending warning of fossil fuel inadequacy, researchers’ focus has shifted to alternative generation. This resulted in use a wide variety renewable biomass sources for making biofuels. Biofuels made from are seen as most promising long-term strategy addressing issues associated with conventional energy sources, atypical climate change, and greenhouse gas emissions. Hydrocarbons may be efficiently extracted biomass, which contains lot sugars. including bioethanol, biodiesel, biohydrogen, biogas can produced widespread usage transportation, industry, households. In recent years, there have been numerous reports breakthroughs manufacturing biofuels biogas. paper examines big picture generation, an emphasis on many forms utilization both commercial residential settings rural areas.

Abstract The groundwater quality of the Gopalganj district in Bangladesh was not well documented. Therefore, this research done to determine study area. water index and human health risk for heavy metal ingestion were used describe quality. performed through estimation turbidity, pH, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, concentration sodium, potassium, ammonium, nitrate, iron, manganese, zinc, copper, arsenic. mean solids two upazila within permissible limit. However, conductivity both higher than WHO-prescribed value which Kotalipara. Excess concentrations iron arsenic found Kashiani upazila, but these below detection limit Kotalipara upazila. revealed that roughly 61.0% samples poor about 96.0% excellent Chronic risks due revelation drinking have also been determined by assessing hazard quotient index. In Kashiani, almost 85.0% elevated chronic adults 100.0% very high children. Kotalipara, all (almost 100%) suggested a lower results carcinogenic via oral exposure children

Energy is a crucial factor for urban development. Cities have role in climate change, as they use 2/3 of the world’s energy, producing 70% greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In order to reduce large ecological footprint utilization conversional energy sources (coal, gas, and oil) enhance nation’s independence (security), it find alternative fuels. Biomass residues are characterized sustainable carbon-neutral source. Hence, this review describes critical assessment not only quality characteristics several waste biomass bioenergy production biofuels but also value-added products that could be produced from wastes industry (e.g., pharmaceutical, cosmetics, packaging industry, etc.). Furthermore, challenges potential solutions transformation sustainability explored. Despite high-quality availability these wastes, factors should taken into account. contribute development goals (SDG), such cities communities, clean responsible consumption production, economic growth country, and, result,
