Introduction
Suicide
is
a
major
public
health
concern,
particularly
among
people
with
alcohol
use
disorders
(AUD).
Rumination,
as
dysfunctional
emotion
regulation
strategy,
and
increased
emotional
reactivity
may
significantly
influence
suicide
risk
in
this
population.

Addiction
is

Major
depression
disorder
(MDD)
and
bipolar
(BD)
are
usual
comorbidities
in
patients
with
substance
use
disorders
(SUD),
a
condition
known
as
dual
(DD).
MDD,
BD
SUD
associated
cognitive
impairment,
potentially
leading
to
greater
functional
impairment
the
context
of
DD.To
review
existing
data
on
DD
comorbid
MDD
or
BD,
considering
influence
depressive
symptomatology.Following
PRISMA
protocol
19
studies
were
selected
from
last
17
years,
13
which
focused
five

included
both
diagnoses.Studies
based
BD+SUD
showed
that
most
affected
domains

functions,

all
them
found
