Background: Obesity is a chronic disease and one of the characteristic features metabolic syndrome that associated with severe health problems such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases. Objective: To assess effectiveness Cardamom Essential Oil-Loaded Nanostructured Lipid Carrier) CEO-NLC) potential therapeutic agent to lower blood sugar an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, weight-reducing agent. Methods: A total 24 male Wistar rats, aged 8–10 weeks weighing 200–410 g, were used in this study. The rats divided into four groups: negative control (G1), diabetic (G2), treatment group (CEO-NLC) (G3), positive (Empagliflozin; EMPA) (G4). Diabetes was induced all groups by injection Streptozotocin (50 mg/kg) except G1. Then, animals treated consecutively for weeks. On day 29, they sacrificed, blood/tissue samples collected serological histopathological analysis, respectively. Results: Significant decrease levels on 28 both CEO-NLC EMPA versus seen (250 mg CEO-NLC, 300 EMPA, vs 450 group). achieved significant effect weight-losing (p = 0.004).
