Sources such fruits, vegetables, spices, mushrooms, algae contain numerous antioxidant compounds. activity these compounds also been confirmed at genome level. focuses oxidative stress-related genes, that regulate inflammatory response, apoptosis, response heat stress, lipid metabolism, intestinal barrier status. presented include, but not limited to, following: rutin, lycopene, magnolol, genistein, hesperidin, naringin, quercetin, curcumin, bisdemethoxycurcumin, resveratrol, astaxanthin, squalene, pterostilbene, protocatechuic acid, taraxasterol, myricetin, proanthocyanidins. Several studies have revealed dose-dependent action. Future should focus role phytogenic antibiotic alternatives relation gut microbiota eubiosis.

Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) from Gram-negative bacteria initially induces liver inflammation with pro-inflammatory cytokines expressions. However, the underlying hepatoprotective mechanism of quercetin on LPS-induced hepatic remains unclear. Specific pathogen-free chicken embryos (n = 120) were allocated control vehicle, PBS or without ethanol LPS (125 ng/egg) treatment (10, 20, 40 nmol/egg, respectively), groups nmol/egg). Fifteen-day-old embryonated eggs inoculated abovementioned solutions via allantoic cavity. At embryonic day 19, livers collected for histopathological examination, RNA extraction, real-time polymerase chain reaction, and immunohistochemistry investigation. We found that presented inflammatory response (heterophils infiltration) after induction. The mRNA expressions inflammation-related factors (TLR4, TNFα, IL-1β, IL-10, IL-6, MYD88, NF-κB1, p38, MMP3) upregulated induction when compared group, while could downregulate these as group. Quercetin significantly decreased immunopositivity to TLR4 MMP3 in group autophagy-related genes (ATG5, ATG7, Beclin-1, LC3A, LC3B) necroptosis-related (Fas, Bcl-2, Drp1, RIPK1) LC3 group; meanwhile, protein LC3-Ⅰ, LC3-Ⅱ, rate LC3-Ⅱ/LC3-Ⅰ. In conclusions, can alleviate induced by through modulating autophagy necroptosis.

Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is one of the common dietary contaminants worldwide, which can harm liver humans and animals. Salvia miltiorrhiza polysaccharide (SMP) a natural plant-derived with numerous pharmacological activities, including hepatoprotective properties. The purpose this study to explore intervention effect SMP on AFB1-induced injury its underlying mechanisms in rabbits. rabbits were administered AFB1 (25 μg/kg/feed) or treatment (300, 600, 900 mg/kg/feed) for 42 days. results showed that effectively alleviated negative impact rabbits' productivity by increasing average daily weight gain (ADG) feed conversion rate (FCR). reduced aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine (ALT) alkaline phosphatase (ALP) levels serum, ameliorating hepatic pathological changes. Additionally, enhanced superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) glutathione (GSH) activity, inhibited reactive oxygen species (ROS), malondialdehyde (MDA), 4-Hydroxynonenal (4-HNE), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-6 (IL-6) tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) expression, thus mitigating oxidative stress inflammatory responses. Moreover, upregulated expression nuclear factor E2 related 2 (Nrf2), heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1), NADPH quinone oxidoreductase (NQO1) B-cell lymphoma (Bcl2) while downregulating kelch like ECH associated protein (Keap1), cytochrome c (cyt.c), caspase9, caspase3, Bcl-2-associated X (Bax) thereby inhibiting hepatocyte apoptosis. Consequently, our findings conclude mitigate damage activating Nrf2/HO-1 pathway mitochondria-dependent apoptotic

Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) can impair the growth of chickens and reduce quality eggs meat, resulting in significant economic losses. The inclusion mycotoxin detoxifying agents (MyDA) with binding properties diet is an efficient tool to their absorption rate gastrointestinal tract. Our aim was investigate ability two innovative MyDA (SeOX, a feed additive featuring tri-octahedral smectite mixed lignocellulose, CHS, di-octahedral functionalized organic non-toxic modifier) both reducing bio-accessibility mitigating adverse effects AFB1 broilers exposed for 10 days concentrations approaching European Union maximum limits (0.02 mg/kg). amount excreta birds, collected over four consecutive (starting on day 7), significantly lower (p < 0.001) group alone compared groups treated either SeOX or CHS. calculated decreased by nearly 30% MyDA. This positive effect reflected reduction oxidative stress (measured as serum antioxidant capacity hepatic lipid peroxidation) induced AFB1. Although enzyme activities glutathione levels were unaffected any treatment, upregulation CYP2A6 downregulation Nrf2; latter reverted each Overall, these results demonstrate that selected are effective limiting rate, thereby even reverting broilers.

The purpose of this research was to assess the effects formic acid (FORM) and an herbal mixture (HM) as antibiotic alternatives in broiler meals on growth efficiency, carcass criteria, blood parameters, intestinal bacterial populations. A total 360 one-day-old Ross 308 chicks were assigned six trial treatments using a totally randomized method. Each group consisted 6 replicates, with 10 unsexed per replicate. groups arranged follows: NC (negative control, basal diet); PC (positive diet + 0.5 g Polymyxin E antibiotic/kg Form2, Form4, HM3, HM6 (basal supplemented 2 or 4 ml acid, 3 mixture/kg diet, respectively). findings showed no substantial variations "body weight (BW) body gain (BWG)" among relative groups. HM g/kg exhibited higher "feed intake (FI) improved feed conversion ratio (FCR)" other treatments. Carcass characteristics not substantially impacted by supplementation, except for spleen weight, which highest group. Significant changes parameters observed, notable ALT AST activity "urea, creatinine, protein, globulin, albumin" levels supplementation also increased antioxidant (GPx, GST, GSH) compared while reducing MDA Additionally, significantly reduced harmful populations cecal samples. Conversely, Lactobacilli counts greater than those groups, although significant variances Clostridium observed. In conclusion, supplementing mixtures positively influences status, microbiota.
