Pesticide residues in cowpeas have raised worldwide concern. However, only a few studies focused on pesticide accumulation and distribution greenhouse open-field cowpeas. Field trial results suggest that difenoconazole, dimethomorph, thifluzamide pyraclostrobin dissipated faster open fields (mean half-lives, 1.72-1.99 days) than greenhouses (2.09-3.55 days); moreover, fungicide were 0.84-8.19 times higher those the All fungicides accumulated after repeated spraying. Fungicide old tender cowpeas, upper halves of cowpea pods lower halves. In addition, distributed plants had residues. Our findings cultivation contributed to spraying, although levels dietary health risks remained acceptable under both scenarios.

The hormesis effect has gradually become a research focus in environmental science and toxicology due to its unique phenomenon of low-concentration stimulation high-concentration inhibition. combined toxicity antibiotics their regulatory effects on microorganisms are areas that warrant significant attention. In this study, doxycycline hydrochloride (DXC), sulfamethoxazole (SMX) sulfamethazine (SMZ) were used as the objects, Scenedesmus obliquus was indicator organism study action laws at different exposure times (4d 8d). toxic antibiotic mixtures with comprehensively evaluated from aspects growth inhibition, photosynthesis index antioxidant enzyme activity. results showed 11 rays produced effect, value 8th day greater than 4th day. Through prediction toxicity, it found type intensity affected by mixture composition, time concentration. Hormesis is caused regulation photosynthesis, activation defense system, gene expression, change cell membrane permeability. This provides theoretical basis for understanding effect.

Pesticides and fertilizers used in agriculture can negatively affect the soil, increasing its toxicity. In this work, a battery of whole-cell bacterial lux-biosensors based on E. coli MG1655 strain with various inducible promoters, as well natural luminous Vibrio aquamarinus VKPM B-11245 strain, were to assess effects agrochemical soil treatments. The advantages using biosensors are sensitivity, specificity, low cost analysis, ability total effect toxicants living cell type their toxic effect. Using V. synergistic combined treatment pesticides mineral was shown, which led an increase overall (integral) toxicity soils higher than that individual application substances. Several probable implementation mechanisms have been discovered. DNA damage caused by both SOS response induction alkylation, oxidative stress due increased superoxide levels, cellular proteins membranes among them. Thus, usage makes it possible cumulative organisms without expensive chemical analyses.
