The increasing prevalence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB) from animal manure has raised concerns about the potential threats to public health. bioconversion with insect larvae, such as black soldier fly larvae (BSFL, Hermetia illucens [L.]), is a promising technology for quickly attenuating ARB while also recycling waste. In this study, we investigated BSFL conversion systems chicken manure. Using metagenomic analysis, tracked and evaluated resistome dissemination risk by investigating co-occurrence antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), mobile genetic elements (MGEs), bacterial taxa in context. Our results indicated that treatment effectively mitigated relative abundance ARB, ARGs, MGEs 34.9%, 53.3%, 37.9%, respectively, within 28 days. Notably, transferable ARGs decreased 30.9%, indicating could mitigate likelihood ARG horizontal transfer thus reduce occurrence. addition, significantly positive correlation links between antimicrobial concentration reduced 44.4%. Moreover, using variance partition analysis (VPA), identified other most important factor influencing explaining 20.6% patterns. Further suggested antagonism on increased 1.4 times, nutrient competition both total nitrogen crude fat 2.8 times. Overall, these findings provide insight into mechanistic understanding reduction during strategy rapidly mitigating
