To address the challenges of low automation, insufficient precision in seed-powder-liquid ratio control, and suboptimal coating quality current domestic small-sized forage grass seed pelletization equipment, this study designed developed a fully automated system. The system employs microcontroller unit (MCU) as core controller, integrates an ATFC101 serial touchscreen for human-machine interaction, combines programming electronic control technologies to achieve precise regulation material liquid supply, enabling quantized operations. hardware feeding adopts bidirectional thyristor (Triac) circuit, while software implements dual-mode strategy ensure high stable delivery. Experimental trials using Caragana seeds powder demonstrated that integrated electro-control achieved full with dispensing deviation controlled within 1.2 g 0.32 g, significantly improving dosing accuracy. This research provides critical theoretical technical insights optimizing equipment seeds.

Sagebrush Steppe native plant restoration faces many hurdles to success, including extreme temperature and precipitation variability non‐native invasions. Multi‐year preemergent herbicides are an option for annual grass control, but also prevent germination of seeded species. Seed enhancement technologies have been recently developed tested shield seeds from herbicide effects using activated carbon, giving them a competition‐free window germinate develop. Several issues need be addressed scale these appropriately contend with the massive spatial extent sagebrush ( Artemisia tridentata spp.) steppe needs, such as ability produce seed at high volume making compatible existing rangeland seeding practices. In this lab study, we evaluated efficacy traditional protection pellets (HPPs) versus smaller commercial coatings protecting imazapic. We then house‐made against those produced by Germains Technology. Finally, see if order spraying affects carbon industrial HPP technologies. Though no technology achieved complete protection, were able achieve results comparable HPPs roughly 60% less 80% dry materials; size is expected reduce cost simplify logistics handling, storage, delivery scale. found difference in effectiveness whether happened before, or after spraying.

For ecological restoration of degraded grasslands, species selection and knowledge the biology are essential. Seed germination seedling establishment, as well seed regenerative traits, can partially determine direct seeding success in this context. The objectives study (1) to characterize seeds 29 native forage Pampa Austral (2) evaluate their emergence, (3) relationship between emergence traits (mass, length, width, length/width ratio), test usefulness these for rapid selection. We studied percentage untreated (UG) treated (TG) under laboratory conditions (four legumes, nine cool season, 16 warm‐season grasses) field (FE) 17 those species, selected based on UG. Additionally, all were characterized, including thousand‐seed mass, ratio. Average UG was 53.30 ± 3.17% Poaceae 25.63 5.73% Fabaceae. Four season eight grasses had greater than 60%. Mean FE 35.18 0.66% 2 months after sowing. has a with mass ( r = 0.69; p < 0.001), while not observed 0.15; 0.7174). In proved be relevant trait given its strong FE.

Seed coating is commonly applied in agricultural seed industry to alleviate biotic and edaphic barriers improve germination, seedling emergence establishment. Recently, this enhancement technology has been tested seeds of native species for ecological restoration conservation. This work presents a novel application the reintroduction with dust‐like that render direct seeding cultivation unfeasible. Here we have used on Lindernia procumbens (Krocker) Philcox (Linderniaceae), threatened annual paddy fields. were encrusted surface rice acted as carrier spread along sowing. We first how two selected concentrations binder affected L. then investigated sowing depth (i.e. level—light, buried—darkness) effect. Rice encrusting feasible valuable tool preserving tiny seeds, since did not limit germination. Light increased seedlings compared buried conditions. Although was limited field trial, promoted formation soil bank species. As such, should discourage possibility reintroduce rare agroecosystems. pioneering technique can be extended restoration, where there an urgent need new seed‐based approaches seed‐coating technologies establishment efficacy.
