To reveal the mechanism and path of rising labor opportunity cost vis-à-vis stable production hogs, this study, based on provincial panel data in China, uses Hodrick–Prescott filter method to measure fluctuation rate hog empirically estimates impact rural residents' wage income using fixed effects model. The findings show that, first, costs have a stabilizing effect production, for every 1 unit increase income, will decrease by 6.00%. Second, mainly slow down promoting scale operation agricultural technology advancement, while advancement synergistic effects, synergy two strengthens production. Third, is stronger key development export areas. Overall, study not only helps stabilize market supply hogs but also provides meaningful references governmental departments formulate policies.

Increasing demands for livestock products have stimulated rapid increases in the number of and scale farming, thus increasing pressure on resources environment. Coordinating development production (LP) with residential consumption (RC), environmental carrying capacity (RECC) is important to ensure sustainable development. In this study, entropy weight method improved-coupling coordination degree (CCD) model were used identify spatial–temporal characteristics production-residential consumption-resource (LRRE). Furthermore, spatial autocorrelation (SAM) gray (GM) analyze aggregation future trends CCDs LRRE China. The findings show that values 31 Chinese provinces increased from 2005 2020, but no reached a high level. Specifically, coordinated level relatively central, eastern northeastern regions low western region. analysis confirmed high-high (H-H) areas mainly distributed northeastern, eastern, central regions, while low-high (L-H) agglomeration was This phenomenon attributed continuous expansion Regions developed economies more funds invest protection projects. Using GM method, we find China will increase 2021 2030, all reach basic However, most barely result indicates may be difficult change short term. region increasing. layout China’s industry should appropriately adjusted, its rate decreased, ecological environment bordering improved. Resources and environment are essential elements of social economic development. Whether the current resources can sufficiently support development is an important scientific issue. Existing studies have not reached a consensus on definition, assessment, forewarning methods resource environmental carrying capacity (RECC). Therefore, this study puts forward ternary theoretical system RECC from perspective pressure, support, adjustment, constructs novel evaluation indices RECC, introduces model, proposes hierarchical method with threshold 1. Furthermore, empirical demonstration 31 provinces in China presented. The results show that: (1) average index areas revealed downward trend 2012 to 2021, indicating gradually improving RECC; (2) central were always high, which manifests poor (3) number at Alert Level III decreased 18 7, Non-Alert increased 6 8.

This study examines the growing demand for large livestock and poultry meat in Indonesia, reflecting changing consumption patterns economic growth. However, this phenomenon faces challenges such as price fluctuations between provinces, declining per capita income, supply-demand gaps that affect access to of animal protein. Utilizing panel data from 34 provinces covering period 2015 2022 employing an Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model, analyzes short- long-run relationships demand. The results indicate short run, prices income significantly influence demand, while tuna have no noticeable effect. In long prices, fish substitutes contributes development sector provides information farmers plan production, advises government educate public about protein sufficiency conduct market operations stabilize maintain availability. findings are expected help fulfill current future Indonesia.

Under the combined influences of climate change and human activities, western Jilin (WJ) Province, as a typical ecologically fragile area, has experienced ecological degradation resource depletion. Therefore, it is urgently needed to assess its carrying capacity (ECC) provide scientific support for regional protection management. This study integrated “Pressure-State-Response” (P-S-R) model with “production, living, spaces” (PLES) conceptual construct comprehensive evaluation indicator system ECC. The weights were calculated using Bayesian BWM-CRITIC-CWDF linear combination method, spatial–temporal distribution ECC was then assessed an improved TOPSIS gray relational analysis (GRA). overcomes limitations traditional methods in weight allocation, correlation, non-linear effects, providing more accurate, reliable, objective assessment Furthermore, bivariate spatial autocorrelation applied reveal interaction between “coupling coordination degree (CCD) PLES” results indicate that value divided into period decline (2000–2010) growth (2010–2020); spatially, level transitioned from high-west, low-east high-east, low-west pattern. primarily driven by factors such fertilizer usage, per capita GDP, output. “CCD indicated positive forming “high-high” “high-low” clusters. provides reliable index evaluating WJ. findings theoretical foundation region’s sustainable development offer valuable insights research.

Survey data 512 farmers probit Heckman models were used estimate impact effects on participation PMOTP. The results demonstrate that more than 62% are willing PMOTP, average pay reaches 7.2 yuan/ton. Farmers’ PMOTP decreases with asset specificity, frequency uncertainty but increases Moreover, attenuate inhibitory effect Heterogeneity analysis showed large-scale without self-breeding self-rearing model affected by other farmers. specificity likely increase for project, which suggests larger farms invest These findings provide useful reference establishing sustainable environmental service projects farming industry.
