Landscaping works are needed to eliminate the monotony of concretion caused by bridge intersections, which increases with traffic density in cities. In this study, where Erzurum city İpekyolu Intersection is main material, 3 different scenarios have been created increase visual quality intersection landscape. A total 4 groups consisting current situation and Lumion Program were evaluated. The survey prepared for analysis was applied 80 undergraduate graduate students at Atatürk University Faculty Architecture. analysis, design elements considered as evaluation criteria. Scenario 3, received highest score, color harmony effective side wall visuality. As a result research, it seen that had higher than situations without design.

Urban waterfront areas, which are essential natural resources and highly perceived public areas in cities, play a crucial role enhancing urban environment. This study integrates deep learning with human perception data sourced from street view images to the relationship between visual landscape features of employing linear regression random forest models predict along coastal roads. Based on aesthetic distinctiveness perception, roads Xiamen were classified into four types different emphasis priorities for improvement. The results showed that: 1) degree openness had greatest influence while high green index decreases perception; 2) model can effectively an accuracy rate 87% 77%; 3) proportion low road sections potential improvement is 60.6%, among 10.5%. These findings offer evidence regarding roads, provide targeted recommendations environment landscapes.

Assessing the visual quality of rural landscapes is pivotal for quantifying ecological services and preserving cultural heritage; however, conventional indicators neglect emotional cognitive dimensions. To address this gap, present study proposes a novel assessment method that integrates multimodal sentiment classification models to strengthen sustainability metrics. Four landscape types were selected from three representative villages in Dalian City, China, physiological signals (EEG, EOG) subjective evaluations (Beauty Assessment SAM Scales) students teachers recorded. Binary, ternary, five-category emotion then developed. Results indicate binary ternary achieve superior accuracy valence arousal, whereas model performs least effectively. Furthermore, an ensemble learning approach outperforms individual classifiers both tasks, yielding 16.54% increase mean accuracy. Integrating objective data further enhances by 7.7% compared existing studies, confirming value multi-source features. These findings demonstrate computing framework can serve as robust quantitative tool evaluating promoting their sustainable development.

This study aimed to investigate the impact of specific landscape elements on pedestrians' emotional experiences during walking. During study, footages were recorded by participants while walking obtain real-time visual element data, including greenery, building and road visibility. And electroencephalogram (EEG) indicators β/α, (α+θ)/β, θ/β θ/α ratio collected represent levels arousal, fatigue, attention relaxation. Our findings suggested strong correlations between with both greenery Conversely, other primarily influenced Regarding combined elements, most positive emotions observed when green visibility exceeded 51%. However, peak alertness was achieved 5.2% 31%. The lowest fatigue highest level under less than 5.2%, relaxation occurred 10%. In terms influence time, entire process could be delineated five 8 min marks, classified into novelty, adaptation sustained phase based patterns changes in participants. Consequently, their combinations, duration play regulatory roles experiences.
