Frequency control is one of the most important tasks in electric power systems. However, as a result ongoing introduction into modern systems inertia-free generating facilities based on converters, mainly renewable energy sources, this task becoming more complex. For purpose, paper develops new structure algorithm current-controlled virtual synchronous generator (CC-VSG), damping oscillations implemented via feedforward controller. Also, proportional-integral loop added CC-VSG state charge ESS. A methodology separation bandwidths different loops proposed for tuning CC-VSG. To confirm obtained results, time-domain simulation microgrid ESS using PSCAD software was performed.
