Urban waterlogging is a serious urban disaster, which brings huge losses to the social economy and environment of city. As an important means rainfall inundation analysis, numerical simulation plays role in promoting risk assessment waterlogging. Scientific accurate disaster scientific significance for formulation prevention mitigation measures guidance post-disaster recovery reconstruction. In this study, SCS-CN hydrological model GIS coupling method were used simulate under four different return periods realize visualization range depth Zhengzhou. At same time, based on results, building as basic unit construct refined framework at street community level hazard, exposure, vulnerability analysis. The results have reference value optimizing working ideas control providing local management departments effectively deal with disasters.

The continuous expansion and development of anthropogenic activities pose considerable threats to the habitats myriad species. Therefore, exploring how protect optimize species' achieve harmony between humans nature is particularly important. As a paradise for wildlife, Poyang Lake habitat breeding ground birds, fish, other aquatic organisms. In this study, adopting multi-level perspective 'point-line-area', we had an appliance conservation by constructing ecological security pattern (ESP) in Ecoregion (PYLE). We produced land use cover from 2000 2040 using random forest cellular automata-Markov model. Combining morphological spatial analysis, landscape index, Linkage Mapper, constructed long-term ESP PYLE considering protection. spatiotemporal dynamics were compared analyzed. results show that PYLE's rapid economic led extensive urban growth, encroaching on surrounding bare land, which could undermine local survival. Based predicted 2040, propose optimized 'one area, two zones, multiple points' scheme prioritize This comprehensive study provides innovative ideas novel insights future research policy formulation

An accurate and timely spatialization of electricity consumption is fundamental for energy management sustainable urban development. While previous research has relied heavily on statistical data or moderate-resolution nighttime light data, this study presented a new method by combining high-resolution Luojia 1–01 functional zoning information. The total volume can be allocated to each land use pixel based its strong linear relationship with light. Specifically, were connected the corresponding economic sectors differentiate complex relationships between within different zones. digital number value every multiplied coefficient. A comparisons have indicated that proposed more accurately characterize spatial distribution consumption. Our results exhibit much clearer outlines detailed internal characteristics. More importantly, information used distinguish various at fine scales. expected capture characteristics in manner. findings help local authorities formulate utilization emission reduction strategies.

Amidst rapid urbanization and escalating environmental degradation in China’s urban areas due to climate change, traditional drainage systems struggle cope with rainfall, resulting frequent flood disasters. In response, rain gardens have emerged as ecologically practical stormwater management solutions that integrate control landscape design. Leveraging the dual benefits of rainwater purification aesthetic enhancement provided by vegetation, herbaceous plant-based assumed a pivotal role green infrastructure. However, dedicated research on application plants garden design is limited, especially within water-stressed context. This study employs literature review case analysis explore this critical issue. Initially, it delineates concept sponge city introduced Chinese government. Subsequently, reviews concepts methods plant biodiversity settings elucidates structure function gardens. Four different environments (old industrial areas, university campuses, villages, highway belts) were selected examine selection arrangement while identifying deficiencies their designs. Finally, feasibility suggestions are for diversity study’s findings can provide reference planting other countries regions similar climates conditions.

Flooding is a worldwide destructive disaster that severely restricts agricultural production. Meteorological indices are common tools for regionally assessing the impact of flooding on crop yields, but their performances rarely compared. In this work, six convenient meteorological indices, namely, precipitation (P), standardized anomaly (PA), China Z index (CZI), (SPI), and evapotranspiration (SPEI), antecedent (SAPEI), were employed to establish correlations between intensity yield (FL-Ym correlation). Four major crops in middle-lower reach Yangtze River (cotton, oilseed rape, wheat, maize) selected as study crops. The results indicated intensities quantified by SPI, SPEI, CZI had strong interconnections, whereas those P SAPEI less related others. cases with stronger negative FL-Ym correlations, different more likely consistent identifications. terms districts witnessing significant only 26%, 41%, 44%, 75% them (respectively corresponding cotton, maize, rape), consistently identified majority demonstrating nonnegligible influence selection. relative examined varied calculation periods (whole growth period single critical stage), SPEI was generally best performer. performed during stages, sharp contrast its mediocre performance over whole period. According multiple middle stages exerted greatest impact. Additionally, rape Anhui Province region most affected flooding. This work can provide support assessment water management.
