Chiral vanadium complexes, featuring a Schiff base ligand and metal center, have garnered attention as environmentally benign catalysts facilitating the generation of axially chiral molecules. This chapter explores recent advancements in vanadium-catalyzed oxidative coupling arenols their applications synthesizing polycyclic heteroaromatics (PHAs). Through detailed investigations, highlights significant role complexes enabling chemo-, regio-, and/or enantioselective CC bondforming reactions to construct atropisomers. Beyond catalysis, it also delves into these atroposelective synthesis heterocyclic nanographenes, including helicenes dehydrohelicenes, renowned for favorable optical properties.

In this paper, for the first time, photopolymers were synthesized from glycerol acrylates with different numbers of functional groups, 2-hydroxy-3-phenoxypropyl acrylate, dimethacrylate or trimethacrylate, without and addition vanillin styrene. The photocuring kinetics monitored by real-time photorheometry. mechanical, rheological, thermal, antimicrobial shape-memory properties investigated. All polymers demonstrated antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus, as well antifungal Aspergillus flavus niger. 2-Hydroxy-3-phenoxypropyl acrylate-based showed thermoresponsive behavior. They able to maintain their temporary shape below glass transition temperature return permanent above temperature. Synthesized have potential be used sustainable in a wide range applications such biomedicine, photonics, electronics, robotics, etc.

Abstract Give the emergence of drug resistance in bacteria resulting from antibiotic misuse, there is an urgent need for research and application novel antibacterial approaches. In recent years, nanoparticles (NPs) have garnered significant attention due to their potential disrupt cellular structure through loading drugs special mechanisms, thus rendering them inactive. this study, surface hollow polydopamine (HPDA) NPs was utilized growth Prussian blue (PB), formation HPDA-PB NPs. Incorporation Co element during preparation process led partial doping PB with 2+ ions. The performance test results demonstrated that exhibited superior photothermal conversion efficiency peroxidase-like activity compared ability catalyze hydroxyl radicals H 2 O a weakly acidic environment. Due tiny particles on presence doping, they strong broad-spectrum properties. GQ‐DNA producing sequences are found in different important genomic areas, including promoter islands numerous oncogenes and human telomere regions. Therefore, is a key target for anticancer medicines. has highly variable structure, it critical to develop ligand molecules that selectively certain quadruplex sequences. Natural products such as pyridocarbazole alkaloids have grown interest healthcare medicinal values they considered valuable source innovative medicines among chemical compounds. In this investigation, we synthesised characterized pyrido[2,3‐c]carbazole derivative (PCAD) through NMR IR spectra explore interactions between PCAD Pu24T GQ (promoter region), h‐TELO (telomere region) duplex by employing several multi‐spectroscopic analytical techniques.
