This paper delves into the diverse and significant roles of curcumin, a polyphenolic compound from Curcuma longa plant, in context cancer inflammatory diseases. Distinguished by its unique molecular structure, curcumin exhibits potent biological activities including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, potential anticancer effects. The research comprehensively investigates curcumin’s interactions with key proteins involved progression response, primarily through docking studies. In cancer, effectiveness is determined examining interaction pivotal like CDK2, CK2α, GSK3β, DYRK2, EGFR, among others. These suggest role impeding cell proliferation survival. Additionally, highlights impact on inflammation influence such as COX-2, CRP, PDE4, MD-2, which are central to pathway. vitro clinical studies extensively reviewed, shedding light binding mechanisms, pharmacological impacts, therapeutic application various cancers conditions. understanding functionality agent. Conclusively, this review emphasizes promise treating wide range health issues, attributed complex chemistry broad properties. points towards growing importance multi-faceted natural medical scientific community.

Amphiphilic peptide sequences are conducive to secondary structures that self-assemble into higher-ordered nanostructures. A select set of amphiphilic polycationic peptides displayed stable helical-coiled self-assembled nanofibers. The progression fibril formation revealed short protofibrils extended thin filaments and an entangled network nanofibers over (5 days) incubation period. Ligand binding with 8-anilinonaphthalene-1-sulfonic acid (ANS) Congo Red (CR) confirmed the structure assembly nanofibers, whereas curcumin treatment led inhibition formation. Considering vast repertoire fibrous biomaterials or protein (mis)folding contingent on formation, this work relates molecular interplay in between sequence composition, structural folding ligand events impacting self-assembly

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative characterized by the impairment of cognitive functions and neuronal loss. AD has no cure; current treatments like acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (AChEI) alleviate symptoms but do not halt progression. We aimed to evaluate effects mechanisms two novel AChEI hybrid compounds (TAHB3 TA8Amino), regarding cytotoxicity, neuroprotection neurodifferentiation in PC12 cells. The TAHB3 TA8Amino on were analyzed cells which treated with for seven days, following morphological, quantitative analyses calculate differentiation percentages, neurite length, protein expression. Regarding cytotoxicity assays, differentiated into mature neurons, then or TA8Amino, posttreatment H2O2 (an inducer oxidative damage); performed using XTT assay flow cytometry. compound induced cells, did cause same effect. Both show cytotoxic change cell cycle progression, nor induce death. Only showed neuroprotective potential against induced-oxidative damage, increased levels p-AKT, suggesting its action through activation PI3K/AKT pathway. Our results that can neurodifferentiation, besides activity, indicating as candidates be explored establishment therapeutic strategies patients AD.

Abstract Alzheimerʼs disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by tau protein hyperphosphorylation and neurofibrillary tangle formation, which are central to its pathogenesis. This review focuses on the therapeutic potential of natural products in targeting phosphorylation, key factor progression. It comprehensively summarizes current research various compounds, including flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, polysaccharides, phenols, phenylpropanoids, terpenoids, highlighting their multitarget mechanisms, such as modulating kinases phosphatases. The ability these compounds mitigate oxidative stress, inflammation, pathology while enhancing cognitive function underscores value anti-Alzheimerʼs therapeutics. By integrating recent advances extraction methods, pharmacological studies, artificial intelligence-driven screening technologies, this provides valuable reference for future development product-based interventions disease.

Abstract Although cancer chemopreventive agents have been confirmed to effectively protect high-risk populations from invasion or recurrence, only over ten drugs approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Therefore, screening potent is crucial reduce constantly increasing incidence mortality rate of cancer. Considering lengthy prevention process, an ideal agent should be nontoxic, inexpensive, oral. Natural compounds become a natural treasure reservoir for chemoprevention because their superior ease availability, cost-effectiveness, safety. The benefits as in various studies. In light this, present review intended fully delineate entire scope chemoprevention, primarily focuses on aspects based compounds, specifically focusing mechanism action prevention, discussing detail how they exert effects affecting classical signaling pathways, immune checkpoints, gut microbiome. We also introduce novel strategies summarize role improving chemotherapy regimens. Furthermore, we describe discovering anticancer with low abundance high activity, revealing broad prospects drug discovery chemoprevention.
