The rapid depletion of fossil fuel reserves and rising greenhouse gas (GHGs) emissions have necessitated research into low-cost renewable energy sources, with a focus on algal-derived biofuels. Biodiesel, sustainable alternative fuel, can be derived from variety biological sources Microalgae-based biodiesel production offers an innovative method generating energy. By utilizing advanced cultivation techniques, such as photobioreactors open pond systems, microalgae grown efficiently in large quantities. Furthermore, various methods, lipid extraction transesterification, are employed to convert the lipid-rich biomass biodiesel. However, make microalgae-based more cost-effective sustainable, several challenges need addressed, higher costs, reduced productivity rates, potential environmental impacts. Future opportunities lie creating methods for cultivating harvesting microalgae, improving yields, effective conversion methods. Overall, shows promise source. further development must take place realize its full reap rewards.

Biodiesel is considered eco-friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic, and carbon-neutral fuel. It made from edible or non-edible oil feedstocks including other triglyceride sources. The production of biodiesel depends on the availability a particular feedstock cost desired raw materials. mainly produced by transesterification process using suitable catalyst preferably heterogeneous as it more beneficial in terms reusability, recovery, product purity, well. Various reactors are developed to produce cost-effective at commercial level. latest trend synthesis application machine learning (ML) technique optimize parameters. mixture two oils either emphasized for presently getting importance. In this paper, various mixed (hybrid oil) reviewed effects reaction, physicochemical properties, fatty acid composition, fuel quality discussed. study highlighted activity catalysts reaction economic feasibility. was found that ratio an important factor conversion biodiesel. also revealed ML essentially useful efficiency. utilization will overcome issues related non-availability reduce overall with improved This approach enhances possibility large-scale may boost biorefinery sector satisfying future energy demand if research advanced level goes right direction.
