Energy access and use is a cross-cutting issue in humanitarian action. Nevertheless, there no cohesive integrated approach amongst different clusters of actions achieving sustainability energy resilience for emergency shelters. This study aims to explore how integrate sustainable energy-resilient strategies into shelter design. Taking the "Quantifying Sustainability Aftermath Natural Disasters" (QSAND) tool as guiding principle, system modular prototype, entitled "Bag Box Building Cloud' (BBBC)", was designed constructed. To identify needs affected population workers, gap need analysis were conducted through global market review, while site surveys stakeholder interviews post-disaster areas China. Key stakeholders involved from early design stage implementation. first research action contextualize implementation QSAND SDGs meeting local environmental/socio-cultural/regulatory requirements. The prototype solar-powered, reusable, versatile, safe, affordable, energy-efficient integrating passive design, storage, combined DC/AC power system. Achieving this requires context-specific knowledge, engagement, careful adaptation holistic with wide range technical social considerations stage.

This study aims to elucidate the profound implications of industrial transformation and upgrading in mitigating dependence on fossil fuels, which holds paramount significance shaping energy transition strategies—an aspect that is currently missing existing studies. Leveraging data spanning from 2000 2020, encompassing consumption economic development, this paper developed a second-order classification model as new measure elasticity. Comparing regional variations resilience, an in-depth analysis was conducted four representative provinces understand evolution their structures over time. Correlation employed reveal impact reduction dependence. The results indicate distinct spatial effect, with southwest inland region retaining pronounced reliance sources. However, approximately 80% have made substantial progress reducing 2020. Notably, financial sector accommodation catering industry contribute positively dependence, while exhibits opposite effect. Urban agglomeration planning attributes uneven delineation urban functions. Suggestions for narrowing gap include measuring sustainability chain life-cycle perspective, avoiding singular functional division cities, developing systematic policies. In industry, adopting alternative cooking implementing conversion recycling waste can help prevent risks. underscores positive role transition, along its potential also makes efforts toward advancing application widely used elasticity assessment method.
