Abstract The study investigates the impact of infrastructure development on environmental quality and mediating knowledge economy in 48 African economies from 2000 to 2020. Generalized Method Moment is adopted control for error term‐related problems potential endogeneity through an instrumentation process. following findings are established: First, Infrastructure enhances sustainability Africa, reduction greenhouse gasses. Second, it contributes reducing CO 2 emissions liquid, solid gaseous states fuel consumption. These results hold after considering indicators Development Bank. Third, further reveal that transport, energy, water supply, technology sectors all contribute enhancing quality. Fourth, taking into account differences factor endowment, indicate helps reduce both lowly highly endowed countries, except electricity supply economies, indicating these needed be speeded‐up enhance countries. Fifth, mediates with promote emissions. recommend policymakers efficiency Africa. This particularly enhanced mediation economy.

This study aims to eradicate poverty by utilizing the manufacturing industrial sector, which cannot be separated from influence of investment value and labor absorption. The analysis methods used are multiple linear regression Vector Autoregression (VAR). employs quarterly secondary data 1999 2022. results show that partially have a significant positive effect on growth industry. Moreover, using bivariate causality test, this proves existence two-way causal relationship between economic industry poverty. Additionally, also analyzed response independent variable dependent Impulse Response (IRF) Variance Decomposition (VD). It can concluded responds negatively poverty, until both reach balance. contribution made each in forming is different one another. implementation good governance highly expected efforts Indonesia, through increasing then creating useful programs increase employment.

The global phenomenon of environmental deterioration often signifies the increase in ecological footprint and emissions levels that adversely affect earth's biocapacity. This results from use substantial fossil fuels energy sources, industrialization, extensive economic activities developing countries. In this context, study examine impact depletion, technical cooperation grants, on load capacity factor Pakistan 1970 to 2022. To accomplish this, employs innovative dynamic autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) simulation approach, providing fresh insights contrast with earlier conclusions. authors contribute focusing supply-side dynamics indicators, namely capacity, viewpoint Pakistan, distinguishing our research existing academic publications. Our results, however, demonstrate a markedly favorable effect grants enhancing safety. Furthermore, depletion industrialization dynamics, exacerbating deterioration. Moreover, conducts sensitivity analysis by comparing obtained using those derived footprints. Consequently, we advocate for development realistic policies mitigate adverse impacts via effective sources preserve biodiversity.

Purpose Energy poverty is a major obstacle to economic and social development in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), where over 600 million people lack access electricity. This situation stifles entrepreneurship, particularly rural areas with non-existent energy infrastructure. paper aims examine the direct, indirect nonlinear effects of on entrepreneurship SSA. Design/methodology/approach Using data from 36 SSA countries (2007–2020), static panel models were estimated generalised least squares Driscoll–Kraay methods address cross-sectional dependence heteroskedasticity. Findings The results reveal that reducing significantly increases new business creation density. effect remains robust across various estimation techniques. Indirectly, alleviating enhances by improving internet health outcomes. Research limitations/implications analysis limited up 2020 focuses SSA, potentially limiting generalisability. findings theoretically support idea can stimulate essential resources Practical implications Policymakers should prioritise inclusive electricity most severe. Originality/value study provides empirical evidence link between region often underrepresented research. use econometric strengthens findings’ validity.
