Rhizosphere microorganisms exert a significant influence in counteracting diverse external stresses and facilitating plant nutrient uptake. While certain rhizosphere associated with Salix species have been investigated, numerous from various remain underexplored. In this study, we employed high-throughput sequencing to examine the bacterial fungal communities composition diversity of three species: zangica (SZ), myrtilllacea (SM), cheilophila (SC). Furthermore, BugBase FUNGuild were utilized predict functional roles microorganisms. The findings revealed notable variations alpha beta diversities among exhibited differences (p < 0.05). relative abundance Flavobacterium was highest SZ samples, while Microvirga enrichment SM samples. Vishniacozyma demonstrate number nodes within their respective community network structures. functions microorganisms, including Gram-positive, potentially pathogenic, Gram-negative, stress-tolerant types, variation for function microbe, ectomycorrhizal guild had symbiotic modes. This results demonstrated critical role fungi enhancing absorption metabolism during growth plants. Additionally, also suggested that S. better well-suited cultivation stressful environments. These guide future questions about plant-microbe interactions, greatly our understanding microbial healthy development

Comprehensive vegetation surveys are crucial for species selection and layout during the restoration of degraded island ecosystems. However, due to poor accessibility uninhabited islands, traditional quadrat time-consuming labor-intensive, it is challenging fully identify specific their spatial distributions. With miniaturized sensors strong accessibility, high temporal resolution, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have been extensively implemented surveys. By collecting UAVs multispectral images conducting field on Anyu Island, we employ four machine learning models, namely Gradient Boosting Decision Tree (GBDT), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest (RF) Multiple Classifier Systems (MCS). We aim dominant analyze distributions according spectral characteristics, index, topographic factors, texture features, canopy heights. The results indicate that SVM model achieves highest (88.55%) overall accuracy (OA) (kappa coefficient = 0.87), while MCS does not significantly improve as expected. Acacia confusa has OA among 7 species, reaching 97.67%. Besides inclusion factors features in can species. contrast, particularly height even reduces it. exhibit significant zonal with distance from coastline Island (p < 0.001). Our study provides an effective universal path map helpful manage restore islands.

SUMMARY Female willows exhibit greater drought tolerance and benefit more from exogenous acetic acid (AA)‐improved than males. However, the potential mechanisms driving these sex‐specific responses remain unclear. To comprehensively investigate sexually dimorphic responsive of to AA, here, we performed physiological, proteomic, Lys‐acetylproteomic, transgenic analyses in female male Salix myrtillacea exposed AA‐applicated treatments, focusing on protein abundance lysine acetylation (LysAc) changes. Drought‐tolerant females suffered less drought‐induced photosynthetic oxidative damage, did not activate AA acetyl‐CoA biosynthesis, TCA cycle, fatty metabolism, jasmonic signaling as strongly drought‐sensitive Exogenous caused overaccumulation endogenous inhibition biosynthesis utilization greatly enhanced further performance females, possibly determining that improved Interestingly, overexpression synthetase ( ACS ) could reprogram acids, increase LysAc levels, improve tolerance, highlighting involvement ACS‐derived responses. In addition, induced associated with histones, transcription factors, metabolic enzymes willows. Especially, may capacity S. males by decreasing levels increasing abundances proteins. While hyperacetylation glycolysis, potentially serve negative feedback acclimate drought‐stressed females. Thus, determine AA.

Temperature is an important limiting factor in the counter-seasonal cultivation of pepper. Currently, there are no studies on transcriptomic analysis 'cold stress memory' In this study, order to understand mechanism pepper (Capsicum annuum L.), seedlings were subjected following treatments: normal temperature treatment (P0), first cold for 3 days (P3), recovery (R3), and another (RP3). The results showed that P3 plants wilted most, RP3 second R3 least. Leaf reactive oxygen species (ROS) electrolyte leakage most P3, least R3. addition, had highest accumulation zeaxanthin, violaxanthin β-cryptoxanthin, followed by These suggest characterized memory'.
