The efficiency of magnetic seed coagulation (MSC) with pH adjustment by NaOH and Ca(OH)2 as a pretreatment for high-strength natural rubber industrial wastewater (NRIWW) was compared in this study. high content suspended solids (SSs) other inhibitory substances NRIWW is primary issue which affects its subsequent secondary tertiary treatment processes. MSC process polyaluminum chloride (PAC), anionic polymer (polyacrylamide—PAM)), seeds (MS) (ferric oxide (Fe3O4)) proven to be cost-effective NRIWW, showed improved performance, turbidity, COD, TSS removals 95%, 56%, 64%, respectively. Sedimentation enhanced from 30 min conventional less than 5 the MSC. organic components reacted MS generate Fe–OH/Fe–OH+ linkages through processes surface complexing hydrogen bonding. According fractal analysis, optimized produces complex flocs that are uniform densely packed. Additionally, served an adsorbent promoted development boosting their density size. presents robust NRIWW.

While there has been a growing interest on the concept of Circular Economy (CE), its correlation with sustainability remains controversial. In this work, combination Statistical Entropy Analysis (SEA) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is proposed as new methodology to evaluate recycling processes from perspective materials circularity environmental impacts using Li-ion battery process case study. This work addresses need quantitative indicators, SEA evaluates concentration at systems level, while LCA measures impact in comparison virgin raw production. It was found that optimization points can be by simultaneously accounting for recovery categories global warming potential, ozone depletion mineral resource scarcity. Furthermore, strong first time between critical elements The thus offers robust analysis product lifecycle aids design CE perspective.
