All humans and animals need access to clean water in their daily lives. Unfortunately, we are facing scarcity several places around the world, and, intentionally or unintentionally, contaminating a number of ways. The rise population, globalization, industrialization has simultaneously given generation wastewater. pollutants wastewater, such as organic contaminants, heavy metals, agrochemicals, radioactive pollutants, etc., can cause various ailments well environmental damage. In addition existing new now being produced by developing industries. To address this issue, require some emerging tools materials remove effluents from Zeolites porous aluminosilicates that have been used for effective pollutant removal long time owing extraordinary adsorption ion-exchange properties, which make them available variety contaminants. However, zeolite alone shows much less photocatalytic efficiency, therefore, different photoactive doped with zeolites enhance efficiency. fabrication zeolite-based composites is due powerful results adsorbents, ion-exchangers, additional benefits good photocatalysts. This review highlights types, synthesis mechanisms wastewater treatment basic knowledge about along research gaps, gives quality background worldwide on topic future developments.

Natural materials are gaining popularity in wound healing and food applications, they have the potential to alleviate major environmental problems generated via traditional materials. Biomaterials based on Chitosan incorporated with natural products (Ginger, Curcumin, Cinnamon) been fabricated by solvent casting method. The antimicrobial characterization of prepared samples were also investigated using vitro studies Gram-positive microorganism [Micrococcus luteus, Staphylococcus aureus, epidermidis], Gram-negative [Pseudomonas aeruginosa], pathogenic [Candida albicans]. XRD patterns confirmed complexation between chitosan other this indicate change structural chitosan. shifting disappearing bands FTIR-ATR changing fingerprints FTIR spectra homogeneity interaction other. Optical properties such as absorption, absorption coefficient, Urbach tail band gap calculation that Ginger, Curcumin Cinnamon interact induces localized state valence conduction band. mechanical studied revealed Chitosan/Ginger has best characteristic compared samples. In addition, toward higher wavelength for chitosan/Ginger may be utilized generate electron–hole pairs, which is important activities, from analysis give high activity suggest it dressing application.

Forward osmosis (FO) membranes have potential for the efficient water and wastewater treatment applications. However, their development has faced significant challenges due to fouling propensity. In this study, FO modified with sulfobetaine zwitterions (i.e., [2-(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethyl-(3-sulfopropyl) ammonium hydroxide) were fabricated used first time address microplastic (MP) issue. Water flux, reverse salt flux (RSF), fouling, recovery evaluated loaded different quantities of ranging from 0.25 % 2 %. The developed tested over 49 h feed solutions containing polyethylene MPs bovine serum albumin (BSA) evaluate resistance. synergistic effects two foulants indicated that primary cause fouling. presence BSA effectively reduced blocking effect therefore lowers overall Additionally, improved structural parameter (S), RSF reported membranes. zwitterion's unique structure hydrophilic groups (CO OSO) resulted in high rates 90 all within only 30 min physical cleaning upon tests. results demonstrate modification method targeting removal TFC-based
