The reduction of Cd and Pb accumulation in wheat grains grown on contaminated alkaline soils is a pressing issue that needs to be solved. In this study, ferromanganese functionalized biochar (FM-BC) was used remediate mitigate grains. immobilization capacity mechanism FM-BC were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) X-ray diffraction (XRD) characterization chemical analysis. Fe Mn loaded improved the removal efficiencies DTPA-Cd DTPA-Pb soil with 22.99%- 52.04% (JM22) 25.54%- 53.32 (AK58) 11.39%- 22.36% 5.38%- 13.00% (AK58). FT-IR XRD results indicated complexation precipitation Fe-Mn oxides oxygen-containing functional groups surface stabilized for observation Cd2Mn3O8, PbHPO4, CdCO3, PbO2 isolated from soils. excellent adsorption reduced available soil, therefore, thereby inhibiting wheat. 3% treatment, contents lower than 0.10 mg/kg 0.20 mg/kg, respectively, reaching national safety standards. And increased Fe, Mn, Na Zn grains, growth yield These findings suggest can considered prospective effective material remediation Pb.
