Limestone-gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) played a key role in SOx removal and clean emissions. However, it would also affect the condensable particulate matter (CPM) compositions. The effects of WFGD system on CPM contents soluble ions were investigated spray tower at varied conditions. results indicate that emission concentration decreased from 7.5 mg/Nm3 to 3.7 following introduction cold water hot alkali droplet systems. This resulted reduction rate approximately 51%, reducing percentage total solving problem substandard concentrations some coal-fired power plants. NO3−, SO42−, Cl− among by 41–66.6%. As liquid-to-gas ratio increased, came into contact with more spray, which accelerated dissolution chemical reactions. Consequently, 17.4–19%. has great effect ion NH4+, decrease 28–66%. temperatures primarily ionic SO42− Ca2+, leading 32.3–51%. When SO2 increased 0 1500 mg/Nm3, large amounts reacted slurry form new its precursors, 57–68.4%. study addresses issue high Concentration emissions plants straightforward efficient manner, is significant for enhancing air quality hazy weather Also, provides theoretical basis technical foundation actual gas.
