The visual approach is the most accident-prone phase of a flight, especially in low-visibility conditions. This preliminary study aimed to examine effects flight experience on pilots' decision-making and scanning pattern approaches. Twenty pilots were separated into two groups based their completed high- approaches balanced order using high-fidelity simulator. Pilots' mental workload patterns recorded via an eye tracker. results showed that, compared less flight-experienced (20%, 3/15), experienced (80%, 4/5) more likely make go-around decisions Furthermore, they exhibited flexible adaptable by quickly shifting attention, as evidenced decreased fixations increased saccades. These findings suggest that integration strategy training solution with marginally meteorological may enhance safety for novice pilots.

Fatigue and stress are critical variables that impair railway train drivers' safety performance, individual differences may influence these effects. This study investigates how fatigue affect high-speed human error the role of differences. We hypothesised situation awareness (SA) mediates effects on error, (age work experience) moderate surveyed 1,391 male drivers from eight Chinese bureaus used PROCESS Macro for data analysis. The results revealed increased directly indirectly through SA. Age experience moderated effect SA, respectively. Older had better SA under high fatigue, while more experienced stress. These findings can inform tailored management strategies to lower enhance operations.
