Abstract Mesoporous Co 3 O 4 /N‐PC in powder form was synthesized via a wet‐chemical approach, and the resulting material deposited onto nickel foam as substrate without use of binder. Prior to device fabrication, thorough analysis suitable cost‐effective aqueous alkaline neutral electrolytes conducted. Electrolyte optimization performed using /N‐PC/NF electrode with Na 2 SO , NaOH, LiOH, KOH electrolytes. The supercapacitor performance binder‐free materials found be superior electrolyte compared other at equal concentrations. Further concentration carried out achieve best electrochemical for electrode. Electrochemical results demonstrated that well 1 M electrolyte, surpassing its Subsequently, solid‐state asymmetric fabricated, utilizing /N‐PC, activated carbon, KOH+PVA gel cathode, anode, respectively. assembled /N‐PC/NF‐AC/NF exhibited an energy density 12.08 Wh kg −1 power 2500 W within potential window 1.5 V. Impressively, after nearly 3000 continuous GCD cycles, showed negligible initial specific capacitance decay. also successfully tested powering LED.
