Abstract In multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM), the attributes can be placed into independent groups based on their properties through partitioning. First, partitioned dual Hamy mean (PDHM) operator is introduced, along with its essential properties. This integrates these separate while preserving relationships between within each group. Furthermore, (PHM) and PDHM operators are also constructed in generalized orthopair fuzzy environment, namely q-rung PHM (q-ROFPHM), (q-ROFPDHM), weighted forms. Their verified to ensure validity of proposed aggregation (AOs). Subsequently, a new MAGDM approach developed, employing AOs. The problem selecting best person examined. Moreover, research includes sensitivity analysis three directions comparative five different approaches. findings indicate that applying attribute partitioning mitigates adverse impact irrelevant attributes, leading more feasible reliable outcomes. Additionally, practical case study focuses suitable industry for investment among available options. demonstrates approach’s effectiveness by considering distinct qualities results make Internet place invest. four similar papers performed, indicating developed method’s consistent.
