Heat

Fermatean
fuzzy
sets
(FFSs),
as
one
of
the
representative
variants
sets,
have
broad
application
prospects.
FFSs
advantages
in
modeling
uncertain
information
and
therefore
been
widely
applied.
However,
how
to
perfectly
quantify
differences
between
FFS
remains
an
open
question.
This
paper
introduces
a
new
distance
measure
for
FFSs,
utilizing
triangular
divergence.
The
proposed
is
designed
rectify
limitations
current
measure,
offering
more
effective
solution
analyzing
FFSs.
Moreover,
we
demonstrate
that
satisfies
some
basic
properties
further
show
its
effectiveness
through
several
numerical
examples.
